Fun fact: Yoko Kanno took great inspiration from the Icelandic band Sigur Ros when making this ost. Sigur Ros’s first album is also named “Von”

I just realized this now but considering Kevin Penkin has said this is his favorite anime ost of all time I can't help but hear similaritys to Old stories or at least see this song inspiring him. The repeating piano really does the same effect and really works. It really reminds me of how old storie does it. They are not super similar, but it's more so the vibe. I definitely feel like this song helps inspire Kevin
