The comparison is quite broad-based and personally I would choose Zanzibar. There is another aspect one needs to consider, that is,proximity to mainland Africa,should circumstances necessitate leaving for safer ground

Zanzibar and seichelles...beutifull island...the best for me is Zanzibar...friendly people security fantastic beach..but...not holidays for single person....If you are alone better to go santo Domingo...thailandia or the cost of kenya....

You are leaning more toward Seychelles it's obvious! 😏 I think Zanzibar has options for all low budget and high, i don't agree with your location 40$ vs 100$ it's not same price you should've been able to show what 40$ gets you in Seychelles too and when you put 100$ in Zanzibar you get way better than what you showed us... That's my opinion.

Zanzibar can never be compared to Seychelles... In seychelles the inhabitants are super friendly and every service is at the highest standard.... But the most important thing is that Seychelles is 1000 times more beautiful than Zanzibar... The only problem that we have in Seychelles is that things are expensive, but if u can afford to pay, u will never regret your money and u would want to come back later... Another thing is that this guy doesn't known places that are much cheaper than the price he mentioned here... Surely u can get a place for $50 to $40, but these tour guide will never tell you, they chose their friends guest house fot them to get a commission.... I know people who allow visitors to leave in their house and he cooks and wash their clothes and theh charge then 500rps per day which is about $30 per day.... sometimes these people drives them around wherever they want to go and with these people u are always safe! And u can always take q public transport which cost about 90cents( $) .... per trip and u can travel all around the island.... Seychellois people are very friendly and they will NEVER leave u on the road suffering or sick... they wouldnýu

I am from East Africa if your on a budget Zanzibar if you are looking for luxury and the best looking beach and ocean Seychelles any day, With many private Island Resorts.. but make sure you have money in Seychelles.

I prefer to he driven around not having to worry about the rest.

Seychelles is not an island , Seychelles is a group of islands. What you mean is the "main island" Mahé.

My personal expierience. Seychelles: buses, super cheap. Zanzibar: rented car, additional cost was 3 tickets extorted basicly by the police.
