had the pleasure of dropping acid and seeing these guys twice in the '60's in Seattle. Psychedelic, vaudeville, jazz, classical , rock, you name it.....all rolled into one big Mother's symphony :) R.I.P. Frank.
@@horowizard Well, this band existed in 1988. This was the last tour. Frank was in the Mothers in the 60s, the two Fowler brothers (on horns) were in the band in the 70s (along with their other brother, Tom, on bass.) Other than that, this was all '88.
@@horowizard Who did you see on tour in 1991? Not Frank Zappa. He played that last tour in 1988. That was it. Frank played guitar in his final on-stage appearance in 1991 in Prague ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fIOBSUSAikY.html That wasn't with his own band. He played with a bunch of local musicians there. After that, the last time Zappa played the guitar was at his home, where Dweezil set his rig up while FZ was hosting what became known as the "Salad Party" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oZKXEvNhq-Q.html A lot of international musicians honored Frank by attending his home in Feb. of 1993, the year he died later in Dec. Long story short, Frank Zappa's own band, with him, hadn't toured after 1988.
If it was the 60s then you didn't see these guys. This band existed in the late 80s and have musical capabilities and electronic technology that is well in advance of what Zappa put together in the 60s.
1988 c'est sur je l'ai vu cette année la à Montpellier France exactement la même formation super concert un des meilleurs que j'en ai vue croyez moi ZAPPA LE MAÎTRE ( Guy platteau Marseille France)
I feel like it's coming l'histour du solidat which is a favorite piece of Zappa but he also used that (i think) in Igors Boogie Phase 1 and 2 so maybe...
