really it’s not the education from schools, it’s as mediocre as any country’s, but the close relationship with english in media. only kids shows and movies are dubbed, if that, and english is often preferred over swedish when the option exists. because english is generally considered cooler and also a necessity for modern life with internet, travel and migration.
@@grumpsdacat4313 ...uh, yes, she _is_ Scandinavian. Sweden isn't the only Scandinavian country where I've noticed an incredibly high level of English fluency, so I was remarking on a linguistic feature of the whole region, rather than strictly Sweden.
