The girl gets ridiculed in a situation like this and the boy gets away because they always say “boys will be boys” 🙄 no dude, boys will not be “boys” instead they should be held accountable for their actions. 😑

I absolutely admire what Zara has done with her platform. Her documentaries are so important.

Thankfully my daughter is long out of school but if this had have happened to her when she was at school then I would’ve been having serious words with the lad who had shared any images. If I had a son and he’d have done something like that then I’d have kicked his arse. You don’t raise sons to treat girls/ women with so little respect.

I'm so sorry for what happened to you Zara. I have a young daughter and if she turns out like you I'll be so proud of her. You are such a strong, courageous young lady and a credit to your family. I was shocked at the fact you were 'selected' to be the brunt of bullies because you clearly have so many good qualities & are absolutely beautiful but then I realised it was most likely a jealousy issue fueled by their own insecurities.

Just because someone saw you naked doesn't make you any less of a person. Naked body is just a portal used by our soul. Just becoz someone saw your body without clothes, you should be ashamed? Ofcourse not. See the people at nude beaches? Their parents and or themselves should feel ashamed for being nude? Ofcourse not. What you are is beyond your body, stop being manipulated by thoughts of others. Carry on with your life, be nice person if your not then you and your parents should be ashamed for that, Not because somebody saw your skin without clothes.

The school delt with with the situation wrong, the boy should have been punished so he can acknowledge the potential result and effect of his actions ,if not he will continue to do the same to other girls/people, it's really good to see zara using her experience to help others to be aware. This was harrowing but equally fascinating. It's disgraceful how victims are STILL consistently blamed. This seems to be an age-old human tendency which modern humans STILL have not fully grown out of. Even as a man I suffered attempted sexual assault by a woman, I'm the first to say I was so lucky that she was not able to physically overpower me, and I fully appreciate how little I suffered compared to others. But even that experience was very frightening and degrading for me. In the end what hurt almost even more was people's reactions around me. Male friends laughed at me if I mentioned it; my dad literally ignored it; my mum initially ignored it then when I asked her why she told me this was because it was disgusting, and partly my fault, and not something I should have told her. PLEASE, society, parents, friends, people, communities, WAKE THE F**K UP and stop shaming and blaming victims. Even my experience which was so mild compared to what so many women go through left a very sour taste in my mouth. It's disgusting and ridiculous. The ones who should be shamed are a) the perpetrators and b) those who claim to love the victim and then shun them.
