Zastava M90 in a 2-Gun match! 

Zastava easily makes the best assault rifles. That gun is a masterpiece. Shot trough my M70 at least 15000 rounds, never had a failure. I own Zastava CZ999 pistol as well. Never a failure. Serbs know how to build guns. Thanx for the video.

Good to know that gas setting 1 will cycle budget-conscious ammo. I'll have to test that next time I get my M90 to the range (hopefully this weekend).

I have the older Zastava which takes regular AR mags and it is a sweet shooting rifle. Looks like a lot of fun. I ran a few matches with my AK 47 and it was much slower to shoot than the rifle you are shooting. I live in N.C. and I use to go to the Turkey Shooting Club in Greenville N.C., I think that was the name of it, been many years ago but it was a good time.

Finally got to group the M90 today and the results are in: Tula 55gr 3.2" PPU 75gr 3.6" Fiocchi 55gr 2.3" Fiocchi 62gr 2.3" PMC Bronze 55gr 5.5" (Abysmal) Winchester 55gr 2.5" Hornady Black 75gr 2.1" 5 shot groups with irons only. Ample time to cool between groups.

I wish we could export our 5.56 Zastava M21's to U.S., but it ain't meant to be... Not to mention Zastava M19 6.5 Grendel...

I took my m90 out last weekend. I ran about 100 rounds on 3 then about 30 or so on 2. Ill definitely try setting 1 next time.

I'm another person who for whatever reason, runs AK pattern rifles better than the AR patterns everyone else wants to run. I was hoping to set up my M90 for competition as well. What muzzle brake did you install on yours? I just got mine recently and it seems to run just fine, but haven't thoroughly tested it yet. I have AR pattern rifles as well but just cannot run them as quickly on these types of drills. As an aside I was using an attero arms mount on another AK and it absolutely would not stay in place or hold zero. Loctite was not helpful either. Attero did refund my money and offer good customer service. I too have a Glock with a bunch of agency arms parts. A G17 and am very happy with it, but for this type of competition I prefer my Canik or CZs. I just can't adjust to the Glock. You did very well here, I'm excited about setting up the M90. Subbed to channel as well. Unfortunately we don't see a lot of matches in the WV area.

I am very glad to have seen this, I want to try and get into that side of shooting because it cant be a bad idea to stay frosty. What hand guard setup are you running? I want to do something similar to that but with an extended rail so I can mount a vfg and also shoot it more like an ar.

I know that you say you are happy with the Zastava performance. Inside 300 yards, how does its accuracy compare to an AR platform?

I live in Panama where I regularly compete, and now have the rare opportunity of purchasing one of those two rifles. However, I am not sure which one to get. I also have an M4A1 by Daniel Defense, so mag compatibility inclines me towards the Galil, but your review of the M90 is fantastic. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Just got my M90 recently. Just curious did you do the 200 round break in on setting 3? Also I’m curious, I see a lot of people shooting 55 gr out of this even though it’s a 1/7 twist rate. I would also, just thought 62 ran better in that twist rate. Does 55 actually run better in the M90? I do like the nearly rifle length barrel on these too.

Did the M90 have a free floating barrel?

Do you shoot slot of brass 556 or more 223 steel ? Is it reliable with both once broken in with the 200-300 round break in period ?

What hand guard did you install for that m90 ?

You should ask for Zastava usa to import these rifles in 6.5 grendel.
