Crystal Renee Hayslett is an amazing actress as is Devale Ellis an amazing actor. I just love the ease that they project in portraying Fatima and Zac. It just seems sooo natural. And their chemistry on the show as well as on their IG lives was phenomenal. That is until Tyler Perry decided to destroy Crystal’s character with a bunch of unnecessary drama built to bring out the stereotypical ugliness of being a black man and woman in a relationship. At first Zac and Fatima were a great representation of a growing and developing black love couple despite Zac being written as the poster child for the stereotypical beliefs of what a black man is to those outside of the black community. Fatima started out as a boss. She was intelligent, independent, self aware, stable, reasonable, patient, self reliant, career oriented, levelheaded, supportive, encouraging, strong , financially stable, had common sense, secure, out spoken, dependable, ride or die chick. But Tyler Perry has turned her into a whiny, unstable, uncertain, overthinking, overly sensitive, angry, insecure, aggressive woman who mothers her man and takes other’s words over his. And the way she speaks to Zac especially about this new element of drama; the 9 year old child, was soooo trifling that even if it was a joke it was poorly implemented and definitely is not a good reflection of what Fatima should be saying considering she is supposedly preparing to become the stepmother to Zac’s potential children. Fatima now resembles the same destruction that happened to Mignon’s character Danni and how Danni was used to destroy the couple Preston and Danni (Danston). I am hoping that Crystal and Devale get the creative opportunity to have full reign over the show Zatima especially since they were the initial inspiration for the characters becoming couple. It’s sad watching the actress and actor that had such great chemistry now struggle through their characters with ABSOLUTELY NO chemistry coming from them because it has been overshadowed by nonsensical unrealistic drama for drama sake only and neglecting the storylines for this overwhelming, overkill drama. Crystal and Devale at this point even look as exhausted by the overwhelming drama as do the viewership
Lol I mean its balance. Zac is on the up and up and Fatima is battling her own demons now.. Its a story. When Zac wasnt shit there was no complaining just watch the show LOL Holy shit

I expressed my opinion and will continue to do so whether you like it or not. Just because you are comfortable watching anything no matter how poorly put together and find it entertaining doesn’t mean that everyone else does. So I would suggest that you take your own advice and sit your azz down, watch your show and leave other people’s opinions alone.
