You saw that objs targets didn’t hamper Zay’s. You know why? Zay proves that he could make plays early on and Lamar started to consistently look his way. People kill me with this BS”oh if only Bateman had more targets” If only Bateman proved he was good enuff to demand more targets, we would t be having this convo. Bateman has proved he is nothing more than a 3rd/4th string receiver.

@@boogidwnej179 I’m really saying that he should be hungrier this year. Ngl, dude has played like JAG (just another guy, not what he was promised to be etc) these last couple of years, that’s why they signed OBJ. No matter where Bate goes he’ll always be the #3-#4 Wr on the roster. This is likely his last year on contract, so he’s going to be hungrier. That, or he falls into irrelevance, because he’s truly stopping Tez from proving himself, I think he’s honestly better than Bate. More speed, a lot more after the catch, and, most importantly, better hands. He’s like an even worse version of what Mandrews is to Likely, except Mandrews is actually a pro bowl, elite level player, and Bate has just been insufferable to watch for the last 3 years, and would probably be on someone’s UFL roster if he wasn’t such a physical athlete.

@@falcon1378 tez is def brought in to replace Bateman. If bate isn’t careful, his targets might even slip even more and go to Tez.

@@boogidwnej179 definitely, Tez is way faster, but I’d say just as Raw as Bate was in college. Of course, he has a higher ceiling, but it makes more sense for the ravens to trade Bate if he doesn’t produce, since you’ve already got what could be a budding star on your bench.
