Long ago I watch your video with the Hannibal face, but I don't know why I don't suscribe back then. I'm pretty glad I found your videos again, you're really awesome, thank you for your wish

I love watching the process of these, it's like watching a high-rise go up in timelapse -- so logical. One thing I've wondered about is how large the eye sockets are, relative to the eyeballs. When you drop them in, there's always a big margin, and this gets closed down, but I'm curious how you think about this area.

Thanks for your comment! What I use as a base is to have the width of an eye between the two eyes and again a width of the eye to the outer edge of the face (from the front view). So the width of a standard head is around 5 eyes. I got this from a lot of drawing tutorials on faces, where they used these measurements. I'm thinking about doing a video on eyes in the future, I'm not sure when I will get to it though

Instant sign of a veteran Zbrusher: they use the old school transform tool instead of the gizmo

Wicked work! Can I ask why you duplicated the head early on and left it under as you was sculpting?

Thanks a lot! I wanted to have the bone structure underneath to have something with which I can check for proportions and anatomical landmarks. This way I don't loose myself in the details in the beginning and I don't have to search for what's wrong with the bigger shapes when I have a lot of details already in place. It might seem like a time consuming step but it actually makes me a lot faster since the beginning is more objective. it's also a really good anatomy practice! :)

I like to use the material from the default 'Dynawax128' project that you can find in the lightbox. I then dial down the wax modifier to around 20 (you can find it in the material properties)

Hey @@FynnGB! I'm happy that you've got so many subscribers now. You couldn't even read my comment on one of your previous videos because of how many comments there were. 😄 But that's good, I'm glad, I love looking at your work and it seems a lot more people do too.

Maybe he saw Frodo leave with the ring, or maybe I'm just not that versatile with sculpting expressions.. not sure though
