I love how every single is something different from the last. Some are more soulful, some are heavier, and some just go in a completely different direction. Every song sounds like hours of dedication and love was put into them.

I've read Stephen King's IT while listening to this album and especially this song. End of the book in combination with this song left me speechless. I just stared into the wall for an hour and I thought about whole my life, mortality, childhood, innocence etc. Thanks Zeal & Ardor and King for these special emotions and moments. It's priceless.

This is my favourite album of the year!

I feel like when Imagine Dragons writes a big "heavy" chorus, they totally feel like they're doing something like this. I wish they were, maybe the radio wouldn't be playing such uninspiring filth.

I wish he would just do a rock/blues album. Just my opinion. I preferred Myrkur and Deafheavens latest specifically because they stopped trying to do metal.

Why does this song sound like kings of leon, i love it but thats what always popped in my mind. Also, after listening to their whole album, the reoccuring singing melody is like an army march song, the tonalities, and its predominant and reoccuring in every song, at times repetitive. Still, i love them a lot, a pure gem.

I don´t know. This music just seems to be so normal to me. What is this hype about it? :-) "Avantgarde black metal" says Metalstorm. This music is so far from BM. Other songs I listened to, was quite better and BM influence was there a bit. I will try to listen to this more to get to it (what you all hear already). :-)
