It’s so amazing to see someone care so much about Aotearoa and our local flora and fauna. Sadly not enough of us kiwis have this much compassion for our home

We did quite a bit of filming at Zealandia to include in a DVD about Wellington City that we published in 2011. Whilst is has become a little dated, it still shows Wellington much the same as it is today. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--zvVOV8lox4.html. The dams were a part of Wellington's water supply built in 1878 and 1908 and straddle the valley that lies along the main Wellington earthquake fault line in the region.
I heard that the night tours are really nice. We have so many videos coming up about our time in NZ and one of them includes seeing a Kiwi on Ulva Island just off of Stewart Island. It was amazing!!!

Grew up in Welly ( Seatoun) .. bought my 1st house at 23 above Seatoun tunnel...on a clear crisp winter night could see the train light going down the Kaikoura coast South Island... there are a few other fenced land islands in nz .. Maungatautari in the Waikato and I'm sure there's another in Northland for kiwi resettlement.
Nice! Koru =caw-roo but you roll the R It's alot nicer in the summer time when the sun is alot higher. It bugs me to no end the low sun in winter 😆 love the staff at Zealandia -they really do go along and name all the plants and tell you about the medicinal properties
Great stuff family I think we'll have to call you kiwis now.you can fish you can farm you've seen a kiwi and you've seen more of NZ than most kiwi's you just need to go to a rugby game😉👍. hope you're still gonna hang around for a while there's still alot to learn about our little country 🇳🇿😷👍
