remember when this came out, i was in highschool and didnt go to school that day, I went with my dad as we drove around northeast ohio on an amazing autumn day, seeing the hills and smelling the fresh air reminds me of this song and the song reminds me of that day.

One of Daniel's best songs ever. If you are reading this Daniel, never stop doing what you are doing man. You are an artist, and you have made some incredibly beautiful things that you should absolutely be proud of. It reminds me of memories preserved in crystal. Fucking astonishing.

OPN is amazing to listen to on dissociatives, like mxe, or memantine. Like, there is literally no other way to describe it. You discover another side to the beauty, and it's just... Honestly, I have no words.

XxBananaPhone14xX I did PCP the other night and this song made me tweak out and try to jump out of my friend's car. also when i finally came down I thought that I had switched realitys. I thought there were two running segments of life and I felt like I flopped from one to the other. I've never had an experience like that..... but yeah drugs and sounds are fun together.

Well, I did some research for R+7 and this is a little of what OPN mentioned as his inspiration (not for this track in particular but for an album): Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Ecophony Rinne Yasuaki Shimizu - Music for Commercials So I was right feeling Japanese roots inside it :) I wonder how much left is there to explore inside R+7 world ...

There are like three images that popped in my mind when I heard this. The first one was large crowds of people on city streets like Tokyo or New York going to work, sort of a capitalist vibe. The second image was just like a cosmic sort of dreamscape where you're just drifting out in endless fog. The last one is like waking up in a new day with a glitchy 80s/90s news broadcast in the background.

It is interesting how the contemporary mind uses appropriation as a role, and by the end it is a nice mixture, but just check the melody they took from: "Olive - You 're Not Alone"
