Hey please respond if you can, I got a yd100 kit and I'm having trouble knowing where the wires from the kill switch and cdi go to along with the motor ones
@@cockroach5717yeah?, is it really, I'm talking about the one that bikeberry sells. Not that I would ever recommend going through bikeberry, but they seem to be the only ones that have it right now, and it's way overpriced (no surprise) but you do have more flexibility with the positioning of the muffler which looks like it could make life a little bit easier. But in the pictures it looks like it's a one piece jug as well. Are you sure we're talking about the same one?
Couple weeks ago I got an older Murray 21 speed 27” for 20$ on Craigslist and slapped a 120$ kit on it. If u have the ability to angle grind, you will need to use it to your advantage and it’s better you do it to a low cost bike that’s sturdy than a real investment that if it breaks your out a hundred dollars plus. With mods I go 45 for less than 180$! You don’t need brand new to get a quality steel frame, just make sure it’s meant for the mountains! They were built to last 25+ years ago, never had an older frame crack on me :)
Yes! Break it in properly, grease the main drive gear regularly, use the right oil mixture, and don't treat it like a bat out of hell and you should be good to go for a long time! I still have my very first one which I reviewed over a year ago. Love it!
I personally don't max speed my bikes. The yd100 will easily get 40+ after break in and with the right oil/gas mixture. I'm a cruiser. I love 25-30 all day. Happy riding
I got mine from cnc bike berry came in 5 days an the pistin was right not backwards an everything great . but the wites are difrent colors than cdi.so thats the only flaw .overall 100% thankful
To alleviate clutch pressure and to save my clutch pads. Not to mention I have a dominant foot that I like to use when riding a coaster brake bike. Good question, thanks for watching!
