Back in my day, early 90's lol, we had to rap on the b-side of records and then finally got the Korg 01w midi up to the EMU Planet Phat and 4-track. I've followed gospel rap since day 1, I'm talking Stephen Wiley was my first cassette tape, then Mike D, PID, JC and the Boys, Dynamic Twins, T-Bone, etc. There was always the vision to bring the gospel through rap music to the world and see souls come to Christ. Something happened and sadly "Christian" rappers started talking less about the power of the Cross and Salvation and tried to fit into the world. Looking to be relevant but lost something...Just like many churches. Just a word of encouragement to you young soldiers. You both are sitting on an amazing opportunity to reach even more people. All I can say is continue to seize the moment. Don't stop. Continue to go all-in. God will do the rest. Don't give up. This generation needs the Christ in you.
