You are a wide load so when the police officer see's on coming traffic, he's slowing the traffic down and pushing them over to give you room. Awesome video!!!

So Jeff, the reason for the cop car moving over to the other lane and making it look like he's drunk is because it looks as though SCS has actually scripted the car to do that, the reason for that is, typically with pilot cars, which are generally the cars leading the way for oversize loads like this, the pilot car will actually move over to the other side of the road or at least to the centre line or just slightly over it every time another vehicle is approaching from the other direction to effectively warn them of the oversize load and there for get them to move over to give the truck breathing room in an effort to avoid a possible collision, if that makes sense. It's an incredibly common thing in situations like this and is very cool that SCS has actually scripted that in, and seeing the way the cop car moved over for every car, they in fact have. Very cool!

Jeff this has got to be one of my favorite ATS in a while! I got the things I like most, awesome sounds, scenery (not just Hwy.) showcase, OUTSIDE VIEW (MY FAV.) and this awesome special load and trailer! Would love to see more of these for sure. P.S. The cop kept moving over when cars would pass by and push them away from the line/trailer because of your wide load.

listening to jeff talk about this engine and the combo is sweet. Especially with the new used truck feature i was able to get the best W900 and pair its 18 speed with a 630 C15-6NZ and the thing just cruises over any hill and still sounds amazing. Thanks for the reccomendation Jeff!

"I dont want the viewers to get tired of seeing my head move around so much" - i actually love that! I always like it in first person games and sims where your head moves a lot. Its much more realistic and less static, like a camera mounted to the truck or something.

Actually its pretty accurate. I've had to get some over sized loads into some very poorly thought out locations. Lost count of how many times the load has done some serious tree trimming getting to the job site.

I've had similar sound mods in ETS, cabin noises too, like stuff sliding around the cab, keys jingling when driving, wind fx and other road noise stuff. Forgot whom made it as its been a few years ago. I really did thought that those sound additions bring much more emersion to a drive.

the turns at 6:30 were perfect! gotta swang her wide so you dont gotta throw her in low and let her eat lol and i love the engine sound mod, the turbo isnt an incessant whistling the entire rev range :O it actually sounds like a good turbo and the rumble of the engine is just soo good! the engine noise held near the high end of the revs is a euphoric sound to me lol

Nice drive through Idaho with that Grain Silo Jeff. Haven't done a Special Transport mission in ATS since I finished all the ones required for the Achievement. This makes me wanna get back into it. Zeemod's are Ze' best. Definitely enjoy the ones that are on the Steam Workshop, so much immersion. Better train horn the then Cascadia in my opinion!

Saw C15 in the title and clicked instantly. Edit: Hey Jeff, you did a video a while back using the HEMTT and I was wondering if you'd maybe do another one with the 1000 HP CAT engine that was in the options menu on that video then try to find the heaviest load and the harshest route that you can find with the most hills and steep grades both going up and down, that'd make for a pretty cool video I would think. Just a suggestion. The sound mod in this video was almost perfectly spot on and I loved it. :)

Oh wow, the C15 is a beast! Caterpillar does still manufacture it, but it’s a shame it’s not specifically manufactured for on-highway applications anymore.

It would be so cool to take the map from ATS and make an lspdfr type game. The world is so beautifully modeled and it would be perfect for working different areas with different agencies, like municipal pd's and state patrol etc.
