@@axel5111 yeah, it rather looks suspicious. It has the typical "abandoned signs" all over it: Graffiti, Temporary construction fence etc. I wonder if the owner recently changed....

I'm not exactly sure what I was watching. It looked like a controlled burn with flying brand controls and response drill combined, with some demolition action tossed in for good measure. The whole flashover control from the nozzleman on the initial interior attack was interesting, but I never did see anything that appeared to be flashover conditions. Perhaps the TIC was showing conditions the camera did not pick up. I was really surprised to watch them 'Lego build' the initial attack lines with bits and bobs. I realize the engines are small, but just one pre-connected cross-lay would have them flowing water under 90 seconds.
@@joshuahenry4303 meh i don't buy that, they are just a little shorter than the smaller engines in the states that have crosslays. It seems like they set up most of their trucks as rescue pumpers and don't emphasis rapid hose deployment for firefighting.
@@pilot4life15 I think, it might be the configuration of the truck as you describe. Most fire trucks in Europe are build for multiple use, able for fire fighting but also able to control the first minutes at accidents etc.. So using rolled hoses instead of crosslays is a more economic way of using the space inside of a truck. By the way, many German fire trucks do have some kind of combination between the standards as they are carrying a roll of connected hoses at the backside of the truck.
It´s awesome, video after video they didn´t put any fire out!!!. Millions of Euros in equipment for washing down the next property, NEVER the burning one. The best exposure protection it`s put the fire out ASAP, but they are convinced of the opposite. They even use low LPM/GPM streams that look more of 60 GPM, a joke. A 250 GPM/950 LPM stream uses a lot lesser water putting the fire out fast...this is what I teach (actual fire) here in Chile...but initially everybody called me "Inundator". facebook.com/CombateyControldeIncendios/videos/1330825947074611/
@@Mizai Dear friend. I'm not from this country. The war there has been going on for like 7 years. Everyone has their own opinion on this. But the topic of the video is the work of the fire brigade. We will not develop unnecessary thoughts.

@@janusfire so you want them to waste time saving a house that has nothing left instead of the house that has everything Get your priorities in fucking order
@@Alucard-gt1zf "Priorities in fucking order" implies protecting what´s not burnt, and the best exposure protection it´s put the fire out ASAP. But those FFs didn´t do anything, even more, in this fire, there weren´t exposures!!!!!!!!...curious way of ordering priorities. An attack directly from the onboard water tank with an actual adult understanding about how to control fires had put that fire on its knees in seconds...but streams washing the smoke are useless...those very same streams directed to the fire have had an instant good outcome. Remember NO EXPOSURES TO PROTECT!!!!...all was a dumb joke.
I don't understand what's going on. Are they waiting for it to burn down or what. Starts pouring water after 17 min. Could've put down the fire in the beginning when there was nothing visible from outside.

Brandweer Student klopt hoor.
From what I can see, there is plenty of firefighting equipment at the scene, there are quite a few firefighters as well, there are numerous firefighting lines charged and ready for action, but for some unconscionable reason, there are exceptionally few firefighters doing any actual firefighting. Quite puzzling to say the least.
at the start of the video a message comes over the radio that its an empty building. (either for rent or for sale) no occupants. why would you risk a fire fighters life, to save a empty building engulfed in a rapidly developing blaze. better to just do a controlled burn and risk no lives at all.
