Hi Fatpat, the standard PC connector fits the socket on the left under the swivel cover. The original design was a flash with a foot that clipped into the other hole, but I just use a standard auto flash mounted on the cold shoe and the cable plugged into the PC socket. It's X sync and works at any speed, as it's a leaf shutter then there is no max sync speed like you have with curtain shutters (like SLRs). Nice camera, see Mike Butkus site for a manual. The parallax lines work well for close up pictures, and if you have a backlit scene then you can lock the exposure with a half-press of the shutter, so you can meter off the ground, half press, then lift up and shoot. Finally remember to store it in a case or in the dark, as over a long time, light kills the meter.
