I wouldn't call this a review as anyone can head over to the website and read everything you described! One brownie point, your vid quality is good and reflects the true look of the binocular 👍
I have the feeling, not 100% sure yet, that field flattener lenses can ruin the natural 3D true depth experience, when done 100% flat. When you look at objects, sometimes it feels like a poster after a poster placed on a green field (scissor cut effect). With the Zeiss SF (type T => aka as the new ones as in this video) that I tested last week end, I had the most natural depth feeling looking over a field full of birds. There was an immediate effect of pure naturalness. I'm a hand size 11 guy and I can only admire the ergonomics of the SF/T. The center focus wheel is so silky. If I could shop new, they would be my best pick. For the price I bought two HGs. They are not bad at all, but the SF will spoil anybody.
ZELTHELD I can not confirm that. I have a last generation EL 10x50. the picture is very natural and looks 3D. if you move your eyes a little to the left and right, you have a postcard hologram effect. to compare it with.
You can't go wrong with the EL, Leica Noctivid, or Zeiss Victory SF. You need to try all 3 before making a decision. One or the other may not feel good in your hands. Also try the 2nd tier Zeiss Conquest, Leica Trinovid, or Swaro HC. I think the optics are the same with some nuanced features on the Big 3 but not the 2nd tier models. You won't regret either purchase. I bought the Victory SF and only because I didn't like the green colored Swaros, though I do have the old Swaro spotting scope. What I don't like about the Victory is the way the lens cover is attached. C'mon for that kinda money the covers should be attached to the binos like the Swaros.
Actually I own both, Zeiss SF and Swarovski EL (probably because I'm an over indulging optics addict struggling with recovery) and you can't go wrong with either. This is an excellent review and the weak points of the SFs are on point. The ELs are beautifully made and a pleasure to own and use. Both pairs have excellent top notch optics as we can all agree. .........................Having said all of that, if I were only to have and use one pair, I would choose the Zeiss victory SFs. There is just something about that silky smooth focus that is like no other pair of binoculars I've ever used. Add that to the superb ergonomics and light weight, They simply got it figured out the best. I often find myself using them one handed more often than any other comparably sized bino. In short, they just work great.
Captain 1985 I have a Zeiss victory pocket 8x25. It’s my first pair (I’m a photographer mostly). These are very portable, but the view seems to have a black bar in between when I try to fold them together and view. In other words, I am not getting a very clear image with both eyes. Is this normal when viewing binoculars or is it mostly because they are small and a sacrifice is made? I am debating a swarofski 8.5x42 as an upgrade but I am open to the larger victory if this is the better one? Any advice is much appreciated. Are the colors nicer with the Zeiss?

The lenses are 95% flat so 5% is blurred at the edges. The Swarovski,s are 100% flat but left people feeling sick when panning a lot. Zeiss chose this option for a reason. The fov is so wide it just doesn’t matter.
