An overnight trip to Zeke's Hut in Hihitahi Forest Sanctuary. The walk was a few hours among some amazing Hall's tōtara and pāhautea/kaikawaka with patches of snow underfoot and some awesome bird life. The small modern hut made for a comfortable night.
