The rauru and sonya art probably is fanart in a sense because they seem like they didnt have a place in the finished game, they were probably made just to be nice artwork of characters the artists enjoyed designing
honestly those kind of team members on games or tv shows are the best, it’s just pure passion and excitement for something they work on and i love seeing it

i am already totally obsessed with the mood the current available zonai ruins give off, since it’s such a unique area from the rest of the game, so i personally would give practically anything to have that area expanded upon, but i also agree that what we have now of course will suffice, and am glad that they even exist in the first place

Even better about the under Hyrule Castle art you pointed out, the animal above the gate is the boar carving seen elswhere and gannon is often (botw included) depicted as a boar, showing they really are paying close attention

Imagine a sleeping giant dreaming of a battle that happened a long time ago and link entering the giants dream only for any change he makes in the dream to result in settlements moving around and zeldas hair changing.

I think for general hair cuts they work, but for zelda herself in the lore, only some of the top hairstyles really work, more of her high and preserved style as apposed to a more "Punky" look

Hi it's me binge watching your Zelda videos! Just wanted to pause halfway through and throw in a different perspective. As someone who hadn't played Windwaker before TotK the music still absolutely just smacked me in the chest. It's an incredible piece that evokes the same raw emotion whether you have the association or not. However, something more interesting happened, I only very recently got to go back, courtesy of borrowing my friends wii u and start playing Windwaker as an adult. Not only did I still get that giddy happiness from the environment, but when I tell you. I got to Dragon roost island for the first time and I cried. The music kicking up with the beautiful colors and immaculate vibes? Indescribable. I knew what everyone was talking about, but now I'd experienced it backwards. Instead of my childhood nostalgia driving me forward in the newest game. My connection through the newest game allowed me to reconnect to a childlike joy I haven't felt in years. Going back and playing the Zelda games I never got to (BotW was my first because I went out of my way to buy a switch and the game myself) is an extremely special experience, and a very personal one. I can't imagine how I'll feel visiting the Rito or fighting Colgera again after this. But if my reaction to you just playing the music in this video is anything to go by, I should have the tissues ready. 💕
I really wish they added more to the start like in the trailers and the image of him and Zelda over the chasm shown here. It should’ve been a small challenge at the start not just story interrupted by dialogue every few steps
Fun fact. If you go to the teaser trailer for Totk (the squeal to breath of the wild: teaser trailer) in one scene there is a brief moment when it shows the cool temple like entrance from the last photo you showed.
I've drawn a couple of the zelda concept hairstyles, the last one looks more like if Zelda got teleported to space and became the mother of lumas instead of adopted by zonai.
honestly I love the early pose concept for link, mostly cause seeing link in his botw promo outfit in that pose is sick as hell. that and it shows how much more bulky his totk promo outfit is
