That platform in the Spirit Temple is the same as the ones in the Water Temple that you climb up with the hookshot. It's shiny because it's carried over the texture of the water's reflection 😊

I get excited everytime you make a new randomizer and this one is such a great adventure. I feel like you should top this one by doing the Majoras Mask randomizer with these settings then the one where theyre connected into one game😊

This zooter has been your best by far. I like the editing since it feels somewhere between a vod and a really edited youtube video. Keep up the great work. And you work through learning the glitch and explaining how the glitches work.

(speaking of which you already used one of my brothers comments and he was so excited so if I could get a shoot out too) these settings make the series long, I work over nights and I watch all your ZOOTRS to pass the time! CQOTD - Zootr 5 settings with Majora's mask added will be an incredible watch. Also, I can't remember but did you ever go check the water temple after you found another key once you'd finished it?

CQotD: this has been my favorite ZOoTR yet, the more settings the better in my opinion! Having all the silver rupees and even the ocarina buttons be randomized was so much fun, and potsanity is my favorite setting. Though as long as you're having fun that's all that matters. For ZOoTR6, I'd love to see all these settings again, plus more random colors and sound effects if you're into it. I always look forward to Quad Sun rising so we can wish everyone a good moaning

Relating to the castle answer to the last CQOTD, there actually is a "Castle" in Kentucky, it's used as a hotel mainly, but they also host events at it for the public and such.

When I think about ZOOTR5, I can honestly say I really enjoyed the journey so far. I'm all for embarking on a ZOOTR 6 train. :D

First off this randomizer is awesome!! I loved every bit of it! Secondly you should do a MMOOT mixed randomizer with these exact settings for true insanity!

CQOTD: This series has been awesome. Might be my favourite ZOoTR! The settings were a fun choice, as it added more thought into the series. Especially mixing silver rupees and keysanity. Which, in a way, made it more difficult to progress. And you also get moments like Boomerang location! (The suspense was real! Ahaha) The commentary was great, as is the editing. The topics were really cool to listen to! It's also nice how there's not any cuts, or at least not that many. So it's easy to follow along, and feels way less jarring to me! Also since you like these settings. I think for the next one, you should randomize Warp song and Owl drop locations, as well as overworld spawns! And try doing a seed where everything is shuffled! It can get rather chaotic, but it could lead to a really fun seed! (Including the hylian loach, which would just add in another purple rupee to the pool!)

I love the editing, I love pot sanity and silver rupees. Not sure if I’m a fan of free standing rupees being in the mix

Really enjoyed this series And I'm hoping to see more really crazy settings when the devs decide to add them Grass sanity (I'm not joking) and fairy sanity are things in the OoT + MM randomizer that I'm hoping get added to this one and will improve on the pain and suffering lol

1. Well, Ganon's Castle is LOADED, so you do have a decent chance of finding some good stuff. 2. You interrupted a Deku four-way. I hope you feel guilty about that, unless they like human males. 3. My (albeit mild) OCD is yelling at you about those green rupees, and YES I know you don't need them. Still. 4. I don't like music randos, because, for Hyrule Field for example, you never know if you're going to get--if we're just randomizing within this game--something chill like Zora's Domain, or something panic-inducing like the falling Ganon's Tower theme. And then you have to live with it in an area where you spend all your time. And see? We agree. 4. I mean...you COULD consider a wheelhouse, where you stowed your carriage or sled or whatever, like a kind of garage, or if you only had horses, the stable would be like it, but is that all just drawing a false equivalency? 5. IRONY of Zelda's letter being here, yeesh. Does that jerk guard at the Kakariko gate give you anything if you give him that? I can't remember. But I don't think so? 6. "APP"-ricot, not "APE"-ricot. Says the chick who can't spell, but I digress. 7. What would we use castles for? Housing homeless people, obviously. I only say this because my city has an increasing problem with homelessness, and our darling little baby mayor, Gods bless him, said they're making ONE apartment building with FORTY apartments in it by sometime in, like, a year or two, to house homeless people. Okay, Josh (that's our mayor's name), forty out of two thousand or so, and remember, this is Canada, so it gets COLD in the winter. And they not allowed to hold up in libraries, the vestibules of buildings or apartment buildings, underground parking, so forth. They get arrested. Can you tell I'm hard on the political Left, given how much this pisses me off? 8. Human life is no more or less important than animal life, is no more or less important than plant life, is no more or less important than human life. We ALL need one another to survive. There's a book y'all need to read: "Braiding Sweetgrass", by Robin Wall Kimmerer. She's an Indigenous ecologist whose mission in life is to fill the world with natural-growth forests. That's me simplifying her work A LOT, so read the book, because she's an exquisite writer. 9. Yeah, you can complain about spending money, and no, nothing has ever been as expensive as it is now. I was born in 1990, and I remember back when a McMansion would run you $100,000, not several million. Inflation is creating food deserts, voting deserts, and literal deserts. 10. Little Caesar's? There are some sick "castles" in the American southwest. Technically called cliff dwellings. Check out Montezuma Castle (Arizona) and Mesa Verde (Colorado).

CQOTD - Loved it all the way through! I wonder if it would be possible, but what if the next ZOOTR also randomizes the _damage?_ What I mean by that is every hit from you/enemies/hazards will randomly do anywhere from 1/4 to 100 damage, meaning you might vaporize an entire boss phase in one hit or waste time doing scratch damage again and again. And enemies might poke you for 1/4 heart, but then suddenly deal 99 hearts of damage. Either that, or make it so that every hit from you/enemies/hazards has a 1/3 chance of doing triple damage. Just to keep you on your toes and rethink how you deal with enemies.

I agree with not randomizing the OoT music in a series. However (I don't know which your ZOOTR had it) I liked the music randomizer that used songs from other games and were fitting the area. I would like to see that setting return one day.

CQOTD: For ZOOTR6 I think having an extreme entrance rando will be the way to go. That means having both the entrance and exit to every room be random. So for example if you enter the bombchu bowling door it will lead to Zora shop, but then exiting Zora shop leads to goron city etc. Basically in order to find out where you are going you'll need to have a conspiracy board and some red string and thumbtacs to detective that s together.

CQOTD: i think when you start your next randomizer you should show how you choose your setting and what site or app you use to do your randomizer i love zooter and hoping for another mm randomizer as well

CQOTD: ZOOTR 5 has been fantastic in every way! 5:43 Also fits considering Gooigi is a thing. 9:08 The word garage comes from French "garer", to cover/shelter, plus the suffix "-age", action/result/state of the verb combined with it, so it technically isn't strictly for cars... but I don't know when the word was created, could be that it was before the invention of cars and they simply extended its meaning or after in which case yeah, garages couldn't exist in this version of Hyrule. 10:19 To be fair, Zelda's Letter is what allows Link to really start his quest so this makes a lot of sense. 12:10 Either with "ay" as in say (eɪ in IPA) or "a" as in cat (æ in IPA) in General American while only the former in Received Pronunciation. 12:42 Funnily enough being from Italy I have practically all of those things in my city to at least some extent, including a castle!

I also appreciate your gaming knowledge and the random facts you share (plus, your voice in general :P). For future playthroughs, is it possible to enable double damage? The only thing that could make this series better is Tyler face cam! But other than that is was perfect!!!!

CQOTD: I've really enjoyed ZOoTR5, and I think most of the settings were great. But if you had to change a few settings for ZOoTR6 to shake things up, I think you could: 1. Turn the Triforce Pieces back on, but make it so that you need them to enter Ganon's Castle rather than having the randomizer finish after getting the last piece. 2. Add in a reward for the 100 Skulltula tokens if it's an option to make them feel a bit more worthwhile to collect. 3. If they add in the option, make it so that each of the Poe's souls in Hyrule Field gives an item. 4. For something that I think could maybe be removed, I don't know if having every note of the Ocarina randomized makes the rando that much more interesting, but that could be just me. Also, to let you know since the next episode is probably going to be the finale, I think you forgot to pick up the check for diving down to the bottom of the Lake Laboratory. You dove to the bottom, but I don't think you ever talked to the guy after doing it.

Music rando should have a categorized option where you can say that only the battlle music should be switched up inside that category, same with towns, open areas, and dungeons. Just to avoid Goron City being under seige or the Holy Realm to sound evil or something. Because, yes, that can be annyoing.

Sometimes it's hard saying something truly constructive when so many have already said it (probably better than I could)😅 Suffice to say it's been a heck of a ZOoTr. A couple years ago if you were to say you'd go all in on pot sanity I'd have thought you a mad man, but after Nimpize nothing fazes you! Great commentary and editing, settings like Kylo Ren said MORE, and love hearing about your civilian life. All around a blast!

For the most part, online shopping is cheaper, but not for groceries. It's usually the same prices, but you have to pay for delivery.

Just want to make this remark here for ya Tyler. 1 out of multiple reasons as to why malls aren’t a thing as much anymore is because they are either being shot up or there have been a wide spread of theft. Online shopping really isn’t affecting it as much as you think. In order for online shopping to be a thing, you need the store to make it. In order for it to be a profit, the store needs to supply and have the damanded. Wether that one’s from online or within the store itself. I don’t know why this stuck a cord with me as much as it did. To be honest I used to work security at a mall. It’s not as easy as people make it seem. Malls now a days are being shot up just as much as school if not more. Just be careful going to malls everyone.

Wow I did not expect my comment about Little Caesars to be featured 😅 I for one love all pizzaria chains, I love pizza the way you love sushi, and Little Caesars has some of the best value speciality pizzas, every place trying to get you to pay twice as much for the same amount of pizza, even if it's not as high quality in many peoples opinion I think it's great Also I'm one of those people who only order pepperoni pizzas so I do not rate pizza chains on how good their other types of pizzas are

on the topic of online shopping: there's plenty of precedent for people to still shop in-person, because online shopping lacks one crucial thing; the trust that what you are buying is what you are getting. Is that pair of pants actually your size? Are those cosmetics truly the shades of color they show on the thumbnail? Does that furniture chair feel as comfy, sturdy, and stable as it says it does? Reviews by other buyers provide a tremendous amount of heavy lifting in decision making for online shopping. However it is by that metric that causes the market competition to become shallow as the ones with good reviews get more buyers (and pushed by algorithms), but does that mean all the other similar products are bad, or just not enough buyers/no one left a review on them? (also shipping can be a hidden axe to your online shopping if you're not careful. Alot of companies will incentive you with deals or subscriptions in exchange for free shipping, but it can be easy to fall into the trap of paying more than you're using their services) There's also the desire to seek to support a human being by shopping at small personal-owned stores whether online or in-person, since you are directly providing them rather than a faceless, greedy corporation. And while Walmart is the biggest national chain shopping center across the entire USA, there's usually likely a smaller semi-national shopping store chain in the area that can provide some cheaper goods better than Walmart. IMO it's always good to try and break up what you get where to get better savings, if you have the capacity, time, and energy to do it.

I think the enemies dealing more damage would add another layer to it. That way youre actually happy for extra health. And the 100 skulltullas for ganon's boss key would add a great incentive to finding them past 50. And i agree that the rabdom music/sounds are rather obnoxious tbh

On the point about high-speed rail, while the size of the US would definitely make it harder to build it than in Japan, it's worth noting that China has had enormous success in building high-speed rail over the past 10-15 years despite being close to the same size as the US. So size shouldn't be that huge of a barrier. I highly suspect that the biggest obstacle to the US building its own high-speed rail network is actually the car lobby. Car companies have enormous influence on the US and state governments. Elon Musk intentionally trolls a lot of discussions about building high-speed rail by saying that his fictitious "hyperloop" idea would be faster (though I doubt that will ever actually exist, and it still wouldn't solve the problems of traffic congestion even if it did).

Last CQOTD: I'd say that meat and dairy products should be banned outside specialized shops. Or, reconsidering, we should ban unspecialized production of animal products and reduce them to an high-standard organically-produced offer. In my opinion health and ethical concerns are much more essential than my convenience as a consumer. Me personally, I'm not too concerned with family businesses. I don't own one, and again, animal rights are most important to me. Also, I see the bigger pricture of progress and that there's always gonna be buisness dying out. But I do see the potential of specialized shops like bakeries to offer better products than a supermarket - health-wise, environmentally, and taste-related.
