Our dad got the N64 for my sister and me in '98 as well. Some weeks later, he took us to get one or two more games, one of which was OoT. My sister never took to it, but I still love the game to this day. I'm 34 now and have an almost 5 year old son myself. Recently, I began telling him stories from the game. I'm really looking forward to letting him play the game, once he's old enough.

I'm 30 years old. And this whole game franchise is amazing hits home and even sometimes brings a tear to my eye. It's insane how much these games hold special memories in our minds and the music truly makes the memories come back even harder. How times have changed now we are here witnessing a war that should've never even happened. Wondering if our human existence will be wiped out cause of our wars and conflicts. And ironicly the music makes me feel happiness but also beware of an impending doom. Man I'm rambling yall stay safe and blessed

Wow, that opening theme just instantly relaxes me. I grew up on this game; it's always been my dad's favorite, and from some of my earliest memories I was either watching him play or it playing it myself, using our old guidebook that was falling apart. To this day I can still name where each one of these tracks comes from in the game, it's so ingrained in my memory.

the first time i have ever saw this game is when I was 4. I saw my dad playing this game and ever since I have been watching him until 9. The last game is saw was him playing BOTW. I wish I could go back to those days because those were the best moments of my life. I have the great fairy fountain as my ringtone, I have posters, I have wallpapers, I have toys, I have everything. This game will always be a big factor in my life and for this game it will always have a special place in my heart. This game will always be the greatest game of all time and the greatest soundtrack of all time. Thank you so much Legend of Zelda, Thank You...

I played thru this game probably 10-12 times and still this music and feeling of being a kid again. 36 years old and just bought myself this game again to Nintendo 64 and complete in box. There is no other game to me this good at everything. Story, music, passion, nostalgia and adventure.

I’ve been playing this game since 5. I grew up watching my parents play it. I have fond memories of beating Ganon every Christmas morning. I’m only 24 now but listening to this in the office makes me want to cry. This OST is so beautiful and the memories it brings flooding back makes me miss the simpler times…. I wish I could go back just one more time

This game and OST will always be the soundtrack of a childhood shared with my little brother. I would play final fantasy and he would play this. I would never touch this game, but enjoy him playing it. He passed back in 08, but this soundtrack truly keeps those special memories alive!

I think that one thing that makes the ocarina of time being "different" is the fact that the Temples OST makes you feel that you're really in a place that isn't commonly visited, a feeling that is abandoned, a cursed place or just mystic, surely is a game that makes you feel the place by just hearing the music of this place, funny.

This game’s sound font just has a certain feel to it (Majora’s Mask also) I can’t really describe it. It’s very nostalgic, but also sad and eerie sometimes. I feel like no other Zelda games or video games in general have this feel to their music. Also, the title theme and the Spirit Temple theme are probably my favorites

I think that's because, as the player, we got to participate in the music with the ocarina. It's an essential part of the game, so it became part of us as well. This soundtrack is pure magic.

Botw is one of my favorite games of all time, but it never came close to ocarina of time. The music alone is just so incredible. I really missed this in botw. Every single track from oot is just so unique and recognizable but they are all so absolutely awesome. I didnt expect to go through the emotions i feel now while listening to the music, when i clicked on the video. Those were better days. I really miss this, but i'm damn glad i had these years in my life. I love this game so much

Everytime I think back when I was playing this game as a child I get shivers: I think the way of seeing live, the way of getting stronger through obstacles on your way and the philosophy put into the DNA of this game influences me up until today. On a subconscious level I think, this game helped me become a better person even though all of the shit I have been put through. And now I am still growing way beyond everything I was dreaming of and still got games of the series by my side. What a great game blessing for me!
