10 Hours of flying through Hyrule along the Light Dragon.

[Lore]... "The Light Dragon is one of four dragons roaming around Hyrule, alongside Dinraal, Naydra and Farosh. Like its brethren, it cannot be harmed in any way, but it can be struck with arrows or other attacks to drop scales and claws. The Master Sword is lodged in the dragon's forehead. If Link tries to pull it out, the Light Dragon will roar and attempt to throw him off, but if Link has at least five Stamina Vessels, he can hold on until the Light Dragon flies above the clouds and calms down, allowing Link to pull the sword out. "

This video is created by using a range of tools to capture this environment in high definition. There's a combination of camera shots from around the body of the Light Dragon. Using the Autobuild ability, I create a giant tripod for link to stand on giving the camera angles I like. I have used a combination of layered sounds and techniques to improve the original game audio.

We've all had those moments where you can only remember the first few notes of a song and it just plays on loop in our minds til something jogs our memory. Somehow Nintendo made that into one of the most tragic moments in the series.

I made a point of greeting each dragon whenever I saw them. "Hey Dinraal," "Hi Farosh," "Hello Naydra," "BABYGIRL I LOVE YOU IT'S GONNA BE OKAY I PROMISE."

Finding out what happened here makes me so emotional, and it only breaks my heart more knowing you just go back to playing and she isn't somewhere safe and is still just a dragon when you beat the game. Yeah you see her turn back and it is the ending, but idk, something about the game never ending and knowing she's not going to be there as you continue playing just kinda haunts me.

I wish both BotW and TotK had postgames where you can chill and do side quests and shrines in a saved Hyrule. I understand that it's "Zelda tradition" to bring you back to the beginning of the final boss when you load your finished save, but... the tradition sucks lol

@@sophitiaofhyrule For real. Tho it's actually kinda tiring? Like there are more ways to be written as legend than mystical forces that require a great deal of sacrifice. Like tbh Zelda rebuilding hyrule can make her a legend. Without having to be a constant martyr. She was a martyr twice. And I just want her to be happy at the end of it. Ya know?

This is the saddest song in the series for me. You really get a sense of what sort of a character Zelda truly is in games like Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess when past Zeldas made immense sacrifices to help stop evil, but BOTW/TOTK takes it to the extreme. In BOTW, it was Zelda jumping in front of Link to stop him from being killed by a Guardian that activated her sacred power, before going to the castle and sealing herself inside to keep a monster from killing more innocent lives. And in TOTK, you really get this sense, especially with the music: Your best friend is now gone, doomed to wander the skies forever without ever knowing whether her sacrifice succeeded. And it's because you failed to protect her. When the Dragon's Tears quest ends, you briefly catch a glimpse of sadness in Link's expression. He knows. And he can't do anything about it. It makes the ending of the game so much more powerful

So peaceful... but this is also a sad theme. Zelda spent 100 years keeping Calamity Ganon sealed away in Hyrule Castle, then got sent back through time, had to witness Rauru's and Sonia's deaths, then suffered extreme pain through Dragonofication to return the Master Sword to Link. Her last thought was about her noble sworsman as she became a dragon and spent more that 10,000 years as a dragon while somehow at the same time keeping calamity ganon sealed away. what the heck...

[Spoiler] Terrible, with all of the enemies which can inflict Gloom damage, Dept Exploration, and Stamella Shroom everywhere, I poured almost all of my Light of Blessing into Hearts. She had given up everything, her body, her mind, and I was not strong enough to pull the blade of evil's bane. As I glided away from her, I can only say, "I am sorry. I fail you again." Terrible, truly, because in the previous game I became too comfortable with Harty food and put all Spirit Orbs into Stamina. They got me 2 times now, shame on me.

This was, a lot for me. Before I found out what the Light Dragon was, I felt so attached to this dragon in particular, it was so much smaller compared to Farosh, Naydra, and Diraal. I thought that maybe these dragons were the last of their kind. And now this tiny new one appears, perhaps the dragons were finally returning. That the Light Dragon was just a baby. Maybe the dragons have a bigger role compared to Breath of the Wild. BOY DID THIS GAME THREW A BALL AT ME!

The others do seem to have wrinkled skin. The light dragon has much smoother skin. Perhaps signs of age still appear on them even though they are immortal and won’t die. Ever.

Love this theme so much!!! Helps me to do schoolwork and get me excited to play the game afterwards!!! You did such a great job with this!!! But now that I've gotten the Master Sword , I can't seem to find the dragon anymore, need 2 scales to upgrade the Champions Tunic, so was wondering if anyone knows where to find her after getting the sword?

I'd say try to predict its flight path first. Teleport to a shrine underneath. Use the zonai hot air baloon with burning wood so it dosen't drain battery. Hopefully that helps!

The instrument is no violin ^^ It is called an Erhu(asian instrument) That can help with finding similar music with a similar sound!
