I stumbled upon this with six hearts and 2 extra slots of stamina to my name and tirelessly fought through all those lynels. Uprading my gear as fast as I could in between attacks and kills. It took half an hour. And I’ve been shaking since

For people struggling , go ahead and gather lots of smoke mushroom , throw it at him and wait for the question mark to pop , beat him and renew the smoke every time it start to desapear he will be stuck and it will be easy for you to get it .

This confirms that even Ganondorf and by extension, Demise's will _is scared of Majora._ Look at the protection they gave for it. Look at how much they didn't want anyone using this mask. This makes sense because Majora wants to destroy everything and Demise and Ganondorf, while sane, want to rule over it. Even Demise and Ganondorf have standards. Even Demise and Ganondorf think Majora is _NUCKING FUTS._ ....!!!!! _THE ENEMIES DON'T ATTACK YOU BECAUSE THEY'RE EITHER TOO DUMB TO REALIZE THAT MAJORA ISN'T TRULY ON THEIR SIDE OR THE MASK LITERALLY FORCES THEM TO PAUSE IN FEAR AND CONTEMPLATE WHETHER ATTACKING YOU IS EVEN A GOOD IDEA. THE LYNELS ARE SMART ENOUGH TO RECOGNIZE WHAT YOU'RE WEARING. THEY'RE SMART ENOUGH TO BE AFRAID. man, ive never had more fun in this game. i stumbled across this while surveying the depths and said oh this is neat wonder what this is, little did i know i walked into a lynel playpen. i only had a 1 40 dmg weapon on the verge of breaking and a bunch of wood weapons and was able to beat the first lynel and use its loot to upgrade my wood weapons and beat the next one. beat this on my first go around but only because i had 2 fairys at the time. cery happy with the reward

Just found this location by random chance. Spent a whole lot of time trying to kill all of them with my low level gear. Really hard but I got the mask lol

Much harder to get then in BOTW! I would get it as soon as I left the Great Plateau and used it a lot during my playthroughs. It was kind of OP so I guess it's better to be harder to get in TOTK.

Me getting Majora's Mask in a nutshell. Me: Oh boy! I wonder what's in that treasure chest with that sinister aura? Game: You must fight five progressively stronger Lynel. Me: Oh. Countless death and rage later. Me: Ok I think I figure it out. *Mounts Lynel and gets he's thrown off.* Lynel: Had enough yet? Me: *Pulls out fused Knight gear* I'm just getting started! *More than 20 deaths later* FINALLY!

Beat all 5 lynels fairly easily. Just beat the 1st one with the master sword, took its bow and spammed headshots on all the other ones while fusing their dropped weapons which did like 10 damage, headshots were the play.

To fight lynels without ancient blades, equip yourself with a bunch of puffshrooms, firing your arrows between yourself and lynel. Run around and attack with a strong fused sword from behind or jump on them and attack. Weapons don't take damage when mounted on lynel. Puffshrooms make the battle soooooo much easier.

It would be pretty cool to see The Fierce Deity mask if it's in the game

PRO TIP: you can have your champion/spirits kill the lynel for you. Lure the lynel to the entrance but be careful to not activate the gate and guide them outside and run back in, the gate should close in between you both, leaving link trapped inside with the lynel outside. You can then let your champs cheese him out till the lynel is dead while you avoid the lynels arrows that he’s shooting. Managed to get my mask today doing this lol

That mask has to be the toughest item to get in this game and the last lynel was armed to the teeth.

Just went there to break some weapons, no sages yet. Didn't knew it was Majora's but damn satisfying when I got it. Some tips: -prepare a lot of yellow heart meals (focus on the number of meals, not hearts gain). You can easily get 7 hearty salmon near Rito village. Yellow hearts acts like Daruk's Protection against gloom attacks. Gloom attacks remove all yellow hearts but cannot affect red hearts at the same time. One yellow heart can tank a explosion slam from a Silver Lynel. -you can save and/or retreat after each Lynel killed

I managed to have the resources to do this before even clearing my first dungeon (and when I only had about a week of gameplay under my belt) due to exploring Hyrule Castle for good weapons and getting good monster parts (namely Stalnox horns). I even got 2 Gloom Swords that fused with the horns for good damage.

Honestly this was pretty easy if you know the lynal attacks. The only trouble I had was not having a hammer weapon but I used a horn that was laying on the ground

How fitting that there are 5 Lynels lurking directly beneath the Coliseum Ruins where you can fight a Lynel in BOTW. I was too scared to fight Lynels TOTK style until I forced myself to fight those 5 to get the mask.

Ancient blade chest location: washas bluff where shrine quest under blood moon Platform was in botw where you had to stand in your under wear under a blood moon it’s there half sticking out of dirt. Edit: found another one in a chest in Gorko tunnel it’s out in the open inside the cave gorko tunnel on the other side of some lava on death mountain

For getting the map for each region, should I go where are the towers?

note you do not have to do them all in one go! You can fast travel after each one but pick up the loot first!

This makes you become THAT GUY when you get it. You can literally walk into an enemy camp, loot their chests and steal their food and they won’t care because THEY KNOW what a menace majora is and also what a menace YOU are becuase you killed 5 Lynels to get this

i found this area by accident and not knowing the chest actually have that mask cuz naturally and obviously, i died to the very first lynel. Such a skill issue for me tbh. And here i thought im finally confident enough to parry and flurry rush other enemies with is

Im beginning to wonder if my game is glitched. I keep seeing videos of this game but things happened different for me. I didn't have to fight the Lynels one by one. The doors opened faster and I had at least 2 at once. Does it change if you have stronger weapons or are farther in the main story? Because I see some enter a cave or places with easier enemies but I got the strongest ones or also when opening chests. 🤷🏾‍♂️

i was here for fun. i love fighting lynels: they were my night and day in botw. id watch blood moone and laugh because it was time to hunt. i have so many bows that theyre not an issue, the world is so small and in my hands so easy to crush. i found the colleseum on accident, i found it because i dont like gleeoks. i came here, and knocked out all of the lynels with three hearts and a one bar stamina bar. in twenty minutes. i didnt do it for the chest. i did it for the god forsaken bow.

This is the first that I'm learning about the ancient blade. The ability to one shot a lynel is great. However, do you not get any loot? If yes, would you know what the 2nd strongest fuse is? I still want the loot.

I didn't realize those were ancient arrows, I only found one and attached it to a sword lmao

If you are a tryhard who wants it early like me heres a tip: bring a weapon that deals at least 30 damage and at least 150 arrows, and a few bomb flowers for some reason htting a lynel while riding it does not consume weapon durability

i beat all four lynals legitimately until i kept dying over and over to the last armoured lynal since i had zero explosives for like a couple hour.s After attempt number 20, i saved and put my game down in rage.Then found this vid, realized I had only one of those arrow attachments, loaded the save file to the armoured lynal, shot it, instantly perishing, and now i have my fucking mask.

They need to give majora its own game as the big bad. Open world Termina?! yes X a Billion. Majora's Mask lore is cool AF. Should be developed and EXPLORED pun intended.

Man, i do not know why nintendo wont add the complete skull kid set. It would look awesome. There are many ugly set available already.

Fun fact! I actually beat them all 1 vs 1 each and every one with only 3 hearts and never gotten hit ONCE no healing no armor etc. in the center of the ring on the ground up close and personal. 🤷

Found this on a fervent Depths exploraton trip on max stamina and 3 hearts, stumbled upon this coliseum. I beat it but it was extremely scary; not because of the Lynel's damage output (I had 3 hearts anyway) but rather the fear of not having enough weapons to beat them. I had a full inventory when I started but I had 4 swords left when I was done. By the third Lynel I started to realize this was beginning to be a battle of attrition. I needed enough damage to beat all of them before all of my swords break. I had only 9 bomb arrows before the first Lynel, most of it was expended for mining/opening paths. I got hit once and realized that I had enough defense to tank 1 hit on 3 hearts, leaving me with a quarter heart left. I also realized I had 2 weapons with Desperate Strength on them and they were pivotal to my damage threshold. I also had 1 attack up meal so I had to use that in tandem with the Desperate Strength weapons wisely. I thought there were only 4 Lynels so imagine my surprise when there was a fifth, and it was armored! I had 2 bomb flowers left and used that to strip most of the armored health, and had to smash the rest of the armor myself. What I didn't realize was after breaking the armor, it left a piece for weapon augmentation. Fused that onto the recovered Master Sword (I found it in the skies randomly before even getting my 3rd memory). Had to beat it while being extremely cautious near the end. Having 3 hearts turned out to be a boon as it made entering Desperate Strength easier. This was probably the hardest fight for me in the game, other than the King Gleeok, but it was damn memorable.

I honestly deleted all of them by using some Ancient Blades (I duped them) And lived happily ever after.

I actually was SO close to getting it but after silver, I thought I was done with it, nope another lynel and then I was like you know what, it's not worth it, soo I gave up ;(

Found this with 6 hearts max, not even 2 full Stam wheels and a dream, I had to perfect the 5 lynels after being forced into using a gloom sword and christ the stress
