Love how the music is intimidating and intense until you strip away the muck on the boss and the music turns into something pathetic sounding in a way like the boss.
I love how they brought back a goofy aah boss like the games usually tend to do, like the forest temple boss in ww or the damage phase of the twilight princess ghoma fight
it's said that as soon as players arrived to this guy during their playthroughs, a thousand "GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT"'s rung out simultaneously across the earth
Wind Temple: Giant Icy Lizard Fire Temple: Giant Rock Spider Lightning Temple: Giant Moth Queen Water Temple: Tiny Octopus on a Shark What a weird boss fight
Gotta say, I think this boss had the most brutal death in the game. All of the darkness inside of it just spurts out it’s body and then it just shrivel’s up from dehydration. As great as it is to finally get rid of all of that sludge and see Zora’s Domain and Zora’s River finally clean and fresh again. I also kind of feel bad for the way this boss dies. I don’t know if it’s just me or not.
this really felt like a goofy wind waker boss and i honestly love that. great boss variety in this game so far. some are epic, some are 1v1, some are hard…and then some are like this little dude lol.
this was my last boss and i fought them at 3am. when they were revealed i was in literal tears i was laughing so hard throughout the whole thing. the game gently steers you to do the zora last and this is a great reward for doing so
Wait, you were supposed to do this one last? I did this second because of access to nearby villages (I was only unlocking a few regions at a time, then proceeding in story mode)
@@byronius7012the games main quest points you west from the first tower and towards the Rito first but I diverted and did gerudo first out of spite because I hate the little bird guy Teba deserved better
The way this one dies is disturbing because I bet that sludge was it’s way of staying alive and the air probably made its cells and skin die like a shark in fresh water it swells up and then bursts before bleeding out…
If I had a nickel for every time Nintendo made a boss that was an octopus-like creature riding a shark-like creature, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
I love this boss fight, it brought balance to the two that i already defeated. not every boss needs to be a dragon. there should always be a silly one.
I never thought I would ever write these words. Bring at least one opal wand or scepter to fight this boss. Yes. Opal wands are usually useless, but they clear off all the shit on the arena and that takes so much annoyance out of this boss fight.
No joke the boss I had the most trouble with. His knocked him out of shark form easily his health bar melted like a chocolates bar in midsummer he couldn’t lay a tentacle on me but I just couldn’t nail his bouncy little form down long enough to hit him. New I had to clear the muck to stop him bouncing but ran out of splash fruits to remove his muck. Ended up making three homing fire hydrants out of zonal tools that pursued him relentlessly around the field then whenever they pinned him I went in and destroyed him
I have to say that Colgera battle gave me the chills, was epic, entertaining and cool (literally), I was so excited to see what type of bosses would find after that, this is my second one and I was disappointed at first, but he actually killed me twice and Colgera didn't hahahahaha, it was a funny battle.
This was an extremly easy boss for me, I just kept bullying this poor thing with my bullet time arrows and splash fruits XD But since I did the Lightning Temple first I expected the other bosses to not be as hard, Gerudo usually got the most agonizing shit going on.
@@dominiquemendy6307 Thunderblight was piss easy if you knew how to flurry rush. It's a bit harder to flurry rush a horde of enemies that are only weak to fire and lightning plus the massive boss hit box
@@loafofchihuahuastill it’s better to be able to at all and you can actually focus on the boss i was getting hit by like 15 different enemies during the Queen Gibdo and I did it super early so I barely had the gear to kill a couple of them. I did it first because I was expecting the lighting ability to be as broken as Botw
his death made me lose it laughing. First his head wobbles out of control throwing him on the ground. Then jets of shadow literally rupture his body. THEN he suddenly dehydrates into a shriveled little corpse. THEN THAT EXPLODES. Incredible 😂
A new [Creatures] entry has been downloaded to your logbook. Morphology: Mucktorok. This mutated Octorok is the source of the toxic water in and around Zora's Domain. Creature's swift nature allows it to spread it's toxins rapidly. It is invulnerable to all weapon melee unless it is struck by a pure water source. Target this foe with such water to weaken it's defenses. Scans indicate the toxic sludge can also be used for shape-shifting-based attacks.
I know as well.......When I started the Water Temple, which was the first one I reached, I had low tier weapons, and after I turned on the last faucet, found myself thinking "It MAY not hurt to hold out on fighting the boss and come back later when I've got better gear!" Better gear, indeed.......I went into that fight with weapons that, at the lowest tier, dealt 30, and at the highest dealt 60! It made the fight a little......Too easy!
I was actually surprised about this particular boss fight I was expecting some giant sludge monster that would start singing a song about pollution and whatnot similar to The Great Mighty Poo
Music reminds me of Majora's Incarnation (the part where Majora makes chicken sounds and does a silly little dance), when the little octopus is revealed.
@@samyb4566 Actually it was a lot easier than I thought, you just need to use Sidon's water slash to get Mucktorok out of the shark and then when he flies you need to jump, paraglide and shoot him with an arrow twice and then he will fall down so you can hit him. Queen Gibdo of the Lightning Temple was honestly a little harder lol
@@changedman6035 I decided to keep it simple and used an opal rod to clean the sludge quickly. Of course, Sidon was here to protect me when a wave was coming.
@@changedman6035Yeah. I also used an opal rod in the fire temple. Remember that gong that you have to reach by going through a long way on the upper floors? I simply used it to create platforms on the lava, then I used Ascend to enter the room from below.
I dunno if you figured it out or not yet, but when you beat a dungeon, you unlock the ability to call forth an avatar of the champion/person who helped you beat it.
There's not really a wrong order, tho. The game suggest you to go first to the zora domain, but is just that. I went to the rito first Cuz I love them.
