BoTW was my first Zelda game, and also my first Nintendo game on my first Nintendo console which was the switch which I got in 2017 shortly after launch. And I have spent over 800 hours in BoTW. Easily my favorite game of all time. Also you might want to be careful in the future. Because until the embargo lifts nintendo is still taking down accounts that show footage that hasn’t been officially released
I played this game directly after 100%ing botw and it was still fresh and new. I thought i would get burned out, but this game keeps throwing surprise after surprise and I loved every second of it
@@stepheninczech We're one day or so away. They might just let it slip or have given permission for reviews to come out with new footage by outlets right around the release.
@@tompaauwe4565 I hope so, it's a good video and relatively harmless. But as we've all seen, Nintendo is a bunch of psychopaths when it comes to protecting TOTK leaks.
I'm all for getting reviews out early and smaller RU-vidrs beating big ones to the punch, but releasing a review before the game is even out puts a bad taste in my mouth. You definitely weren't given a review copy by Nintendo, so not only are you playing a leaked version, but you're putting footage in your video that clearly should not be shown to the public yet. Nintendo put 6 years of hard work into this game and people can't even be bothered to respect a release date. Hope the views are worth it, because I hope Nintendo goes after you.
Loved the video, your review, and the new gameplay, but I have to warn you that Nintendo is very stricy when it comes to showing gameplay footage. Maybe delay this upload a bit until the review embargo lifts, or edit it to not include the new gameplay.
Zelda 1 is torture? I'm sorry, We can't be friends. XD JK, but I DID beat Zelda 1 and the 2nd quest without looking anything up a number of years back. it's HARD, but it's not TORTURE. you want TORTURE< go play Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Sorry but I wonder if you really played the game. While the engine is still the one from botw. The game itself is complete different as what botw was. Everything fans wanted that was miasing in botw is added in this game. And it's massive really massive with so much different stuff in it. I would say you can compare it more to traditional zelda but with still having the botw open world in it. With cool innovation ideas, not gimmicks. You are comparing it like saying gta5 is equal to gta3 just with more stuff. But that's not the case.
agreed. he said certain things were so similar to botw its not worth going over...but then said things like cooking, which has had significant updates. he probably doesnt have a lot of subscribers because he has a pretty poor hot take
He didn’t play it . He’s trying to get subscribers by being and early reviewer imo . A lot of leakers were talking about how unbelievable the game is and how it makes BOTW obsolete in a sense . General vibe it if u think BOTW is a 10/10 game ur gonna think this is a 12/10 . GOAT potential
i was one of the people that enjoyed breath of the wild as much, but thought it was a good game. i just wanted more of a story and this game has it so im good
A ton of hardcore day 1 zelda fans do not kike BOTW. Many ofnus don't think it feels like a zelda game. A grest game for sure, but doesn't feel like zelda.

I wanted this game a lot but I didn’t want to pay $70 for it so what I did was buy two of those vouchers or whatever they are for $100 and got this and pikmin 3 which I always wanted which I’m playing now and I love it Basically for 50 each. I can’t wait till Friday.

You do know that Breath of the wild released on the wii u right? Its not like it was going to be a shock when the game was easily one of the most popular games on nintendo's least popular modern console
Yeah he hasn’t played it. Those who actually played it are flabbergasted how great it is and will go down as GOAT potential game status . Dungeons Caves Massive underground areas Shrines Better quests Sky area is almost as large as main area . World looks very different minus some main landmarks If Breath of the Wild is the best bread I ever had …..this is like adding layers of meats and cheeses to it .
After hmm.... my "experience "... ill say that. Too much building required. Final ganon phase was not epic or to say hard at all. Was a disappointment. The story was good, but the ending was... not for the classic players. It was more woke..? Yes more to do. Layers are sky, ground, under ground. Yes koroks still there. Lol. The prologue story was what truly hooks the player, including a few others throughout the game. But too much needed crafting/building. Ugh! This is a good game, don't get me wrong. It's just... not what I personally expected for game play and especially final fight phase and ending. To each their own but still worth a play through imo. Sorry to my classic fans, it's not what we are really looking for, imo.

I can't overstate this enough: This game is more like a improved remix of BOTW than a sequel. It's incredibly similar in feeling and gameplay loops. Don't listen to the marketing ploys. If you didn't like the gameplay loop and puzzle, shrines, and fun of BOTW, DON'T PLAY THIS.
Bro, if God of War Ragnarok is a sequel. Than ToTK with full new physics systems that change the entire dynamic of the game, bosses/creatures, additional verticality in landschape with land to explore definitely is. All it needed to fix next to that otherwise are dungeons and story. Both of which seem pretty much confirmed at this point.
What are you smoking? You just compared TOTK getting smashed by two games that aren’t even out yet?? The switch has over 1 billion units of software sales, which is an all time high for Nintendo on any console ever. Their IP’s are doing just fine.
He didn’t play it . The real leakers are not showing footage and are praising this and the excitement in thier eyes about what they can’t say is killing them . This is a generational game for sure
It’s literally not a bad game. Just because something isn’t for you doesn’t inherently make it bad. BOTW is popular enough and won enough accolades that objectives you cannot call it bad. It’s just not for you.
