The two melodies in this song - the Hyrule Field theme and Midna’s theme - feel almost like a call and response to me. The Hyrule Field theme is Link, desperately trying to save this person who has effectively become his best friend, and Midna’s theme is only 3-6, high-pitched notes, desperately holding on - not even for herself, but so that Link and Zelda may survive and save Hyrule. This game is brilliant. I have never played a game better
I only wish for the soft patter of wolf links footsteps in pleading yet tempered haste to get to the Princess. Perhaps a few barks/pants, midna moans , standard game audio. A different vid prolly, this one has its one majesty without the game audio addition.
