www.wiizelda.net - The Kakariko Village music, taken from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The track is directly taken from the game, rather than from the Twilight Princess OST.
I love how they reference the theme for Kakariko Village from OoT in the beginning and in little snippets throughout the song. Its little references like that that make me happy n_n
That theme was actually originally from LttP's Kakariko Village! And the rest of the song is based on LttP's Dark World overworld theme (albeit way way more chilled out).
This, lake Hylia, and Calm and Hope, are my most favorite songs to relax to from this game, this one really relazes me, Lake Hylia takes away all my stress, and duties from life, and Calm and Hope, Cheers me up, whenever i feel depressed :)
When it is mentioned it's usually from people complaining that CoD is mentioned so much on these videos. Rarely ever do people discuss CoD on Zelda videos. When it does get mentioned, it is then you see people talk about CoD with the hundreds of comments saying "don't mention CoD" or "why are people discussing CoD on these videos".
Even though I didn't really like the fact that you could only visit 3 or 4 buildings in the place that were worth it, I kinda like its looks as a mostly deserted town.
I have to agree with XShiftryX here. Call of duty was the first to implement them in a fps, unqiue regenerating health (not the first to introduce the concept tho) and the perks are confirmed to be true. Killstreaks too. But yes I agree this conversation shouldn't have been brought up.
Do you know that fps back in the day had no iron sight feature? The guns had them but you couldn't use them. Counter strike is one popular example. I said the first to bring the concept into the fps, and yes adventuring games had regenerating health first . CoD did not invent, but implement them.
@dandanwii Dragon Roost Island was based on Native Inca/qeuchua music from Peru/Bolivia. Those people don't play much much video games down there so I don't know if they would be flattered or offended of the Japanese stealing their culture for their games
@somerandomgirl8D They were, design is nice in Dark Dawn though and it carries through the story, even though it wasn't necessary. It's fun but not challenging like the other two. The first two weren't that hard but they just required more thinking so to speak.
@dandanwii Native American culture is not occidental but European culture is. Twilight does have a Sumo Wrestling minigame so that one Asian culture in there and I thought since South America is still mostly developing countries newer videogames like this would be rare and they are still like in the 16 bit age down there as I imagine that is only the technology they can afford until their economies improve.
@Wiintendoh I see what your saying, and I completely agree, but when you consider how much CoD was gone under recently, how arrogant CoD fanboys can be, and how spectacular Zelda remains, you can see why people would react the way they do. That being said, people shouldn't attack you for stating your opinion.
@Wiintendoh Oh but when we were having so much fun? I do hope that you would take your own advice if I am bothering you so much. But I'm going to guess that you won't because you want the last word. Now prove me wrong.
Is Zelda an RPG? Does anyone know any RPGs? (other than like Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Harvest Moon) I am trying to find an fantasy/anime themed RPG with some dating sims elements like Rune Factory. Anyone got ideas?
Didn't say enjoyable I said deserving of existing. There is nothing that COD offers that you can't get in another game. Zelda on the other had offers so much more that you can't just get from any other game.
CoD: Mindlessly killing other players with a broken sense of realism. "Hooray, I can successfully quick scope people and I have an awesome k/d!" Yeah, who the hell cares but yourself. Mosly played by kids/trolls today. Zelda: Takes you on adventurous missions with hours of unforgettable game play. Everything about it is fun. There is no score, no k/d, and everyone interprets it in their own way. I do enjoy violent games, but the Zelda series makes games enjoyable without being overly violent.
I like how someone mentions cod and the next 10 pages of comments have to be full of raging zelda players bashing cod as if zelda's honor was at stake. If you didn't care about the troll you'd get over it already.
Well for their different genres Zelda is one of the best yet CoD is considered one of the most over hyped FPS'. People may compare how they are ranked in their different genres.
Isn't it off to compare Call of Duty with Zelda? They're completely different types of games...can't you like them both, or just like one and not the other? What's the difference?
Are you kidding me why is there even a conversation about COD and Zelda???? 1. they are not even close to the same. 2. This is a video of a theme played within the game, why is COD even a subject? 3. The only real comparison you can do between the two is say witch one is more deserving of existing. And the only way you can do that is by looking at their innovation in gaming. And so far COD hasn't done anything that has be innovative that other games haven't done before. So Zelda wins. Nuff said
@slitherate CoD is fine and all. I used to enjoy the stories and playing multiplayer with my friends years ago, but the franchise today is just horrible. Getting to the point: If you are someone who comments/trolls that CoD is better than Zelda on a Zelda video, expect to be put down. People who make such stupid comments deserve to be picked on. And I am not one to lash out and swear at people without a plausible cause, so you are fine.. for now.. >_>
Um no. Stop hating on a series you don't know much about. Iron sights, regenerating health, attachments and perks. Zelda is awesome but lets not compare it to a completely different genre game series.
Deserving of existing? It all comes down to a matter of opinion. Some people will find Zelda boring and others COD Some might call it the best some might call it gay. OoT was quite innovative and so was a few COD titles pushing developers make games in modern times. It's the same the shit every year but don't forget it's old games before it went mainstream. tldr there is no "worthy of existing" cod fans will want cod, zelda fans will want zelda. the games both brought new shit to the table
