This is the first time I've heard this song, OoT was probably my favourite game growing up, and I have a music degree yet didn't notice it. Edit: meant to say didn't notice it until reading this comment and looking back. Then I noticed it clearly.
Try learninf it. It took me 12 hours and i didnt even start plthe practicing to master it. I learned a few arrangments from him. Sam griffin is a beast man, onenof tge best players in the world i would say
I decided to learn play piano long ago specifically because it is a polyphonic instrument. So naturally when I heard this part, it left me speechless because I don't normally associate that type of playing with other instruments. I believe he was playing 3 different parts at the 1:00 mark.
Such a beautiful song. I was transported back to what was my favorite game of all time for so long before botw and now it is in 2nd place. Thank you for this
I grew up with Wind Waker and remember playing it on the game cube when I was little. Now I’m playing it with my dad on the Wii U. The game will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for doing this.
I love in the outro message the quick correction from Zelda to Link: "One of my favorite Zelda games...the Wind Whacker. Zel--Link gets out there, he says listen up wind!"
@Sam Griffin Guitar & @Beyond the Guitar: you guys are both freaking amazing. Why haven't you two partnered on a video already??? I'm waiting for a combined video from you guys.
It's amazing how we always have the impression that you are many players instead of one. Your way of playing guitar is magical. Sorry for my horrible english, i hope you understood me well. Keep up the good work and thank you for all these beautiful covers
this song is honestly the reason i want a classical guitar(so hard to pick). modern acoustic is great, but just too snappy of an action. Thanks for the video , very enjoyable to listen to. I'd wake the wind for dis. get outa here.
Bro! Straight beautiful rendition. For the first time, I hear all the hints of other Zelda songs contained in this song... example: Kokiri Forest hints at 00:51 seconds through 1 min and again at 1:40
