Jan Dismas Zelenka - powerful, revitalising, high-spirited and as emotionally gripping as the greatest of composers can be, truly deserving the title of the "Czech" Bach. A very good and exciting performance that is not restrained in tempo whilst not rushing through the different layers of counterpoint that have to be heard out for. A bonus having Stephan MacLeod sing this aria of God "Potrei sovra degli empi scagliar tempeste", a truly brilliant baritone who plays this part well. I look forward to completing this Oratorio, and arranging the original manuscript score to a performance by Ensemble Inégal in the near future, as I have done with Zelenka's other Oratorio "I Penitenti al Sepolcro del Redentore" (ZWV 63): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qFALO7PuyLw.html
