This is a superb performance. While it is obviously not a studio-quality recording, it is an excellent rendition of this trio. Your video has been and is my go-to when I want to listen to this piece.
Thois trio - inspired by Brahms' op. 114 - showed that the young Zemlinsky was gifted for chalber music. Nevertheless, he choed rather to copose symphonic music and operas, in which he met immediate success since he was a mlervellous orchestrator. Unfortunately, he was obliged to emigrate to USA in severe conditions. He died there poor and ignored in 1942.
