How can you not love Sayuri and Zen? She's the true Superman. Everyone on the show are great parents, but they're only solo during the show, whereas this is everyday for Sayuri. She's the real MVP. There's too much stigma around single parents in Asia so I'm glad Sayuri is taking a brave step by allowing the world to see how normal this is and that she's more than capable of being all Zen needs.

I finally enjoy this show again only thanks to Sayuri. When this show first started, it showed struggling fathers taking responsibility to raise their children and it was so touching to watch. Some way down the road it only became a bragging show where the fathers called idols or other famous people to entertain their kids and the viewers. Finally, once again it shows the reality of a struggling parent. Sayuri really is amazing ❤

I totally agree with you. I started with Song triplets and kind of stopped after they left, only watched short clips here there, cameos were so many it was uncomfortable to watch. Voice over/commentary bothered me a lot too. But now this family feels so relatable and me being a woman in 30’s who is trying to conceive this hits home so much

@@nushrathumaira2257 Nice to hear that I’m not the only one who thinks this. I watched from Haru, Sarang and the twins. Thoroughly enjoyed the Song triplets as well, but like you, I stopped watching after that. My husband’s Korean, so we would often talk about cultural differences and general difficulties in raising a child. Obviously not room for that when the show became a brag fest and the contestants just handed over their kids to famous people. Wish you best of luck with conceiving!

@@pawoo308 thank you 😊 I think I got the courage to try after watching TROS. Being Asian myself, their parenting style was close to how I was raised compared to where I live now, US. At first celebrity appearances were entertaining as papa’s work friends coming over. Then it was random celebrities calling up to say they want to babysit in the midst of busy schedule. It was unbelievable to some extent and for some idols I felt like the kids were introduced then before the episode was recorded , so they can avoid awkward encounters. I wanted this show to be above all that PR nonsense.

Yes like the older eps where lee hwijae struggling a lot with the twins worried when the twins sick i think the sooen and soojun were at zen age when they first joined the show, and also the triplets father were overwhelming when taking care of the triplets alone…the struggling is real. Seeing sayuri taking care of zen the big cute baby giving the show back to the original.

The greatest thing is... Sayuri really love her son, even there so many hate comments toward her but she's standing strong for her son because she loves Jen. She's the real super mom, super human. 🥰

Seeing sayuri eating while standing because Zen doesn't want her to sit down reminds me of when I was young and had a fever and my mom couldn't sit for hours because I would cry since I wasn't feeling well. Mom's love is awesome 💞

I don't think Sayuri doesn't want to get married, but she hasn't found a suitable partner. Nor does she want to get married just because wants to have "children".

True. I think she explains the reason why she wanted to have a baby is she was ageing and as per doctor it would be difficult for her to have a baby later due to the biological age of her ovaries. I think what she did is admirable and reasonable

Love this mother-son duo so much. Zen seems to understand the situation at a young age. he does his part to help his momma. He's so docile, not fussy, and eats well.

Been watching them since the first episode when they appeared, and also on her youtube channel. Even this is the n time i re-watch this video, tears won't stop falling. Just, her efforts make me touched, and respect her even more. And Zen, like he knows everything, his eyes show worries, and his behaviour is too good. I dont get along well with kids, but i adore Zen so much

I dont know if it's just me or what but when it gets to the part where sayuri takes out the supplements, the female narrator's voice kinda she's hold herself from crying, especially at 6:41 (it probably just me) I mean I would to, sayuri is such a strong woman, I respect her so much❤️
