Does the screen look "grainy" due to the touch layer? I saw that issue with the Zenbook 14 OLED and it does not look nice...Also, where did you get the price of 1.499?? This machine is really expensive.
I know their built for different purposes but I’m having such a issue deciding between this Asus 14in and the new Razer Blade 14in 2023 model. So tough, I want a good all rounder, meaning all my office work and music production but I’d like to game on COD & Assassins creed and Calypso Protocol with highest frames for a while, I don’t want it to throttle back.
i have an older model asus vivobook oled and an asus zephyrus 3080.. both running linux.. quality wise they are durable and well built.. cant speak for this new zenbook or for the razer but i can say ive had good experience with Asus in general
How do you get 7 hours of battery life? I do not even get 3 hours under normal use (no gaming) and on low brightness... ;( I asked asus to check my laptop and they said nothing is wrong. Do you have any tips?? Thanks for the video
Can i get your reply, is this good for gaming? Because i am office worker, and need laptop low profile in front client, but also powerfull as ROG or Legions for my need
That cinebench score has problem. Did you set it to turbo mode in pro art and my asus and set window to performance mode too. Most result from reviews and reddit show 20k on cinebench. May be u can get higher gaming performance too
It's because he played the games at 1080p and medium settings with fsr on so the gpu barely had to break a sweat. He should have tested it at native qhd with everything ultra as the 4070 is more than capable.
do u think the performance will be the same with the rtx 4070 zephyrus g14? i'm confused cuz this might be too good and might cannibalize the sales of the g14
What a stupid design at this version with just ONE sustainable USB (A) port, the other ONE USB-C lives not long enough because of the desolate sensitive construction... 🙄 And the keyboard keys are breaking at too much consumers while a normal, non agressive usage. And RMA companies want 300€ for the complete keyboard with guilt shifting to the consumer. What a fraud... like with the Intel 13, 14th gen.
It's a Noobs review. Did not even mention the CPU / GPU power limit. The single most important aspect of a gaming laptop. Also, The benchmark shown here means NOTHING. Where is Fire Strike / Time spy benchmark?
Thank you for pointing out the importance of CPU/GPU power limits in a gaming laptop. Your feedback helps me improve my content and provide better information to my viewers. I'll take note of it for future videos!
This laptop is a pure beast. A lot doesn't have an OLED screen (even if some people doesn't like a glossy screen like this one) and i9 13th gen nice. Adding a second bigger screen when you want and that's it. 10:36 The price in the video 1499 pounds is around 1750 euros right, when I switched to my country 🇨🇵 the price is 2560 pounds around 2999,99 euros with an i7 🤔
la 4070 fait mal pour les prix mais la version avec une 4060 et le i7 est à 2500€ sur la fnac en ce moment, après il y a une remise sur la version 4070 avec 48Go de RAM pour 2680€ qui je trouve est une affaire
Cheaper ? Where do you live? In my country this cost 3600eur 3900usd, where as a MacBook pro 14 m2max cost 3700eur 4000usd. The M2MAX is objectively faster in CPU and GPU tasks. This has better display and windows but that's all
Probably has something to do with various different specifications (I've seen them with a 1 or 2 tb SSD and with either the RTX 4060 or the RTX 4070 amongst other variables). 3600 euro and 3900usd seem like made up numbers though. Their official site states $2,099.99 for the 4070 model...
Amazon France has a 4060 1tb 16gb ram version for 2000€. No touchscreen on that SKU though. Picked one up, added 16gb and swapped in a 2tb 980 pro. Wonderful machine.
Seriously I bought the Macbook pro 14 m3 pro 18/1000, and I'm super confused if I have made I the right decision over The Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Intel i9 13900H Nvidia rtx4070 32/1000. I feel oblivious, cause I have a friend that's like oh damn I want to game with you, but now you have a macbook. So there's that and I also feel like I'm kinda missing out😢
If put in "Whisper mode" performance will take a hit but the fans will stay off for light tasks; in "Standard mode"" the performance will be increased while keeping the fans relatively quiet, so the fans won't be distracting.
Please answer my question: which is generally better to the eye looking and more gorgeous regarding colors, accuracy and more beautiful to the eye looking : the zenbook pro 14 or slim pro 9i Zenbook : oled,120hz, FHD 2880*1800 , 550 nits Lonovo: mini-LED,165hz, 4K 3072*1920 , 1200 nits
Sir just a suggestion, you are not utilizing its full potential. Turn on performance mode from my asus app and windows setting. Then use 1440p resolution and ultra or extreme graphics settings in forza horizon 5 and turn on dlss 3 frame generation in forza.
No, the affect that RAM has on battery life is negligible, and the RAM isn't actively cooled with the rest of the system so it would not affect fan noise.
... very nice review ! Have you noticed any flickering at all? I mean this PWM thing when lowering the brightness and using it on the longer term? Me personally, I do not like too bright screens. Thank you.
I have been waiting this laptop but ever time it’s not even available to buy or see the price in the uk does anyone know when will be available to purchase
hey ! a bit late but i have the laptop, ive had issues with it but seems to be just me. but the head is fine, the cooling system is very good. also from my experience it can get loud during heavy load but it is not too bad hope that helps
Hi, thx for the review. I would like to ask you more about the charging options. I don't like that they changed the charging port instead of using the Type-C one, they were already using in the previous models. However, you said the charging can also be done via the type-c port. Do they provide a cable for that, too ?
A few tipps for future videos as a developer: for benchmarks use CPU(Passmark, geekbench, CR15/23) GPU(Passmark G3D, Timespy, Wild Life Extreme, GFXbench). Passmark is probably the most accurate CPU test second to SPEC. Otherwise a really good review
