Worth mentioning that Stonework Packbeast is a colorless card that makes it way easier to get a full party, being all classes. If you have strong party payoffs it could be worth playing him, 2 mana 2/1 isn't that bad anyway.

2 mana 2/1 is awful but yeah it is playable sometimes.

@@adoodwithgood I don't think a 2-mana 2/1 is a card you're embarrassed to play just as a curve-filler. But, in this format in particular, I think you're actually very happy to pick up multiple pack beasts in a deck with a lot of party payoffs.

@@diogenesincarnate4910 a 2/2 for 2 is a D and a 2/1 is way worse because it dies to everything so yes you are embarrassed to play a straight up vanilla 2/1 for 2.

I don't think the UG Kicker deck will have the same problem as the lifegain deck in M21. The problem there was that without the lifegain payoffs, all you were doing with the enablers was gaining life. Which is nice but not game winning. Here, the enablers are spells that you kick if you have enough mana - something that is powerful on its own. So the Kicker payoffs are just the icing on the cake.

Thanks for the video. Top 10 suggestion, Legendary Creatures that have 2 or more different versions. Example like Drana which has Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and Drana, the Last Bloodchief.

I feel like Ashaya is among the many Naya landfall enablers (since she makes all your nontoken creatures trigger landfall), and she benefits from landfall indirectly because her stats are based off of your basic land count. But there's so many Naya landfall rares that she isn't really as directly a landfall rare compared to some others.

In sealed, When do you know to build around your rares / uncommons vs when to ignore them?

Basically it depends on whether you have good cards in those colors. Play the colors that the majority of your cards support, then add the rares. Don't play *because* of a few rares.

Ammon Michel recursion is great in limited and I remember untamed Kavu being really good in dominaria limited. It has the same stats but instead of recursion it had vigilance and trample.

I think the +1/+1is harder to pull of than people assume. I am not saying it is a bad card for limited but I don’t think it is a good first pick the counters strategy may be supported but giving up a draw and also needed to give a creative a counter seems more difficult than I think people first assume.

Why do you think lithoform engine costs more than what is written on the card? It doesn't say pay for what you copy. I guess you are talking about the turn it hits the bf.

Obviously you don't pay for the copy, but you have to pay mana to make the copy. Having 4 mana left over when you cast a creature or 3 when you cast an instant or sorcery is not easy.

there are only two non uncommon payoffs to the warriors deck - one of them is bad and the other one is not really a payoff so that archetype looks like it won't come together that much. this is true for most of the other archetypes too so it looks like there are like two or three archetypes which will be way more powerful and will come together way more often the all the others.

You mean the warrior lord? If red white is curving out with all warriors into that lord that will be absolutely backbreaking. Red white is a fast archetype anyway, buffing all your smaller warrior and getting through those extra points of damage to seal the game will be crucial. The effect is simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad.
