Enjoy floral tangle patterns using the Zentangle method of drawing! You can draw each one separately or together to create a beautiful garden of tangles! Today's pattern is "Cyclamen" by Mariya Aleynikova. Supplies at www.zentangle.com
My husband had a good idea to make the end picture feed back into the first for a continuous wallpaper type border. I think mine will go on display somewhere in my house, I'm very proud of what I have achieved and also very greatful to you for helping me to achieve it x
Thank you so much, Kelly, I discovered your channel recently and I really love what you share and the way you do it. It is so relaxing and so much fun. I also started the mini mandala series and I would love to make them all 😊 so I hope the video's will stay online. What you share is a true gift of peace in an world that is often too busy for me. I bless you with all my heart, may your happiness open many hearts for the joy of being that often reveals itself in simple acts such as the drawing of these simple but oh so beautiful flowers. With love ❤
I'm having so much fun with this series!! I've made my tiles round so that I can copy them onto labels to give as gifts with my jam/jelly. Thank you Kelli for the inspiration!!
This floral is so beautiful! I loved to draw this one. To break the dark oval I put a white dot in it, just a bit right of the middle (if that makes sence 😅) Thank you Kelli! I'm enjoying myself so much with my growing garden. Love from The Netherlands, Ingrid.
I’m not here yet, but I keep thinking each day that oh I love this. I love this more. I love this one more. But truly, I love this one the best! I didn’t see that it was a cylindrical center until you shaded it! It is amazing what shading Will do!!! I finally got it in my garden. And still, it is my favorite so far! 💛TR
I love this one. There is a real flower called a cyclamen which does have heart shaped petals but I don’t think they have the cone in the middle. In the U.K. it’s pronounced siclamen but may be different in other places.
🤦♀️ I never know how to pronounce them! I should have looked up the flower before drawing it! I saw another version where the person put a little round bump in the center and it was so cute!
Cyclamen doesn't look anything like these, but I love this flower. Like she says, tangles aren't supposed to look like real flowers... this one fits that description. I am enjoying this series!
I love watching your videos. I am currently watching the Floral Patterns series. I am only at 11 but, I was wondering if you were going to make copies of your completed sketch book available for purchase? It is a wonderful teaching guide.
Yes, it’s meant to be non-representational. The creator was probably inspired by an actual cyclamen and then created this. If it looked exactly like something, then it’s considered a doodle or a sketch.
