severely depressed for a long time, but today for no apparent reason, felt good after this beautiful song, i am beginning to realise how lucky i am . so many my friends has lost their life at young age, some was unwell for a while and passed, some died for our beloved country Eritrea. i salute you ll may you rest in peace.
Sometimes you imagine what life would have looked like now, if people were just going about their business everyday of the year since this song was made. That means no war no interruption, just the normal life staff: work, weddings, birth of children, school, graduation, growth, worship , music, art , sport and of course funeral ... no dictatorship and justice for all. I know it is not the card the people were dealt but imagine where the country would have been by now
Melodies that never knw death .. it keeps coming as new . I always think it was the age of renaissance in art and humanities! They were ahead of their time and the time to come . Nothing lasts for ever but this music is a living memory to Eritreans . Love u guys
I was not even born when zerai deres band played their everlasting songs, but since my childhood upto these days keep listening to them. Neither die nor fade....well played as if it was made as immortal.. it doesnt matter how good songs can play, but ll never come closer to those of 60th and early 70th.
Used to listen to this Album on the Radio when I was young in the late 1970s and early 1980s and was always amazed why the tune was quite slightly distinct from the main body of Eritrean Songs at that time while it is also same with them. I always amazed by the true combination ( combo) or harmony and synhesis of the INSTRUMENTS IN THE BAND OR album. And I was always held in Q ? and perplexed and preoccupied and moved in my questing and inquiring mind.

Birhan 2016. We are Africans we never learn ourselves or the easyway. we always learn the hardway. You are the only one who thougt about this question. too late it is sad.You can notice the happiness at home and the happiness but what did we get today after all the losses we suffered.
Now after 20 or 30 years I know why and was able to understand the mystery that eluded me to define for all that period or my lifetime. Thankyou for the MUSIC
Late on growing up it still is amazing and something that invites your mind to even inquire more and more again. The more I listen to it the more gets me a mixed emotion when inquiring to define it and its parameters in my mind. It was something like the new chemistry and physics I started taking when entered Grade 9 of my schooling and some interesting chemical combinations I introduced and started to study.
LIFE life is a set of continuous Mysteries that invites to continuous Solutions to better understand it but not to define it. Only GOD is capable of defining Life and its Limits.

It is good and a blessing to know who is who or who my friend and who my enemy is in the END. You had been hiding behind Eritrea and or the Eritrean people so far. I can clearly see now who is who. Nothing knew but only that what I knew since I as 9 0r 10 years old.
