One big difference between 999, VLR and ZTD was the absence of the "Nonary Game" and the infamous "9 Door", replaced instead by the X-Door and X-Passes (which I initially thought was weird). But given that there are 10 participants in ZTD's Decision game, it makes sense that there is an X-Door instead of a 9 Door (given that X is Roman Numeral for 10), ultimately something that superfans might pick up on to learn that something was amiss :D

Another hint about zero: in the incinerator section, after learning that q team was executed: Sigma: "But, even Q...?" Phi: "He had to deal with a handicap..." Sigma: "He probably didn't even realize something was wrong..."
I had heard the name Delta before I really knew who it was, and of course I tried to input every name I could think of that wasn't on Q team, but then I tried Delta... I freaked out and closed my already broken 3ds causing it to fall apart (fixable but annoying)
It seems like Delta's true goal was to bring together 9 shifters so he could synergize with them. Then when placed in the life or death situation at the end, SHIFT himself.
It's a shame they didn't make an actual epilogue scene like the one in VLR. Well, I guess it's not strange considering budget cutbacks and time restrictions. To think that the saga has concluded makes me feel kinda sad. I did enjoy the three games quite a lot.
I didn't realize this at first but when Akane decrypts the anagram for C-Ward she gets something along the lines of "With me, we are ten" except for the extra letters of "LDAET" that she couldn't solve. Now I know what it means.
RE: Delta being present since the beginning, meaning there were 10 players. For me the biggest clue was that 9 people were in the Mars Test units, but we were only had 8 from there - or so it seemed. None of them knew who Sean was and they SHOULD have known, had he been with them in the test centre. We should have realised that Sean wasn't known and so no in the centre. So who was the 9th participant, should have been a big clue. ( I never realised till I thought about AFTER Delta's reveal. So well-played Uchikosi. )
So basically what you get from the overall story and this game in general is that the smallest ripple can make the biggest wave. Although this game did seem VERY morbid you can actually learn a lesson because of how well written this game was and personally i think it was beautifully done.
Ironically enough, while you can take that to a macro scale, you can just as easily compartmentalize the butterfly effect with all the other philosophical and sci fi concepts the game brings up across many a death game. Like, speaking of cause and effect or ripple effects, the multiple bootstrap paradoxes within the canon throws cause and effect out the window.
I think the thing that makes me the most sad about the ending and the epilogue file stuff, is that you can kind of see that a bunch of it being as it was, comes across as them straight up just running out of production budget and not being able to afford to elaborate further.
During the standoff when Sean is shot (the two shots you mentioned) you hear Q on the current casualties even though Sean moves just a little after that before finally collapsing after.
when eric kills sean with the grenade launcher, i think q is announced as dead. makes sense , though . he was sitting right behind him, as we know from the "perceptive end".
If you look at the Status screen after Eric shoots Delta (in the Final Decision), Q is "Dead." Even after the big reveal, it's kind of just saying he was always Q.
Also very obvious but something many may not have considered is the fact that everyone was represented by their dolls from the picture in Zeros Room except for Sean because he's not actually Q
And also when Sean stays behind instead of escaping, so that he can be with Gab. He didn't stay with Gab, he stayed with Q, and you can actually see him chained up to the post.
One thing that I found really funny, was that a lot of times when they would be talking about something that was related to one of the characters. The camera usually pans to the person in question, even if you don't know how they're related to it at that time. For instance, I remembered Sigma was saying to Phi "Your parents must be real characters" and it would show Sigma and Diane, or when Zero was talking about the murders it would show Mira.
I think the real reason the woman changed paths was to avoid crushing the snail while she jogged past. Eric's mom was such a caring person, and it would be a nice echo of "too nice" Diana unable to abandon Phi even if it dooms 6 billion people.
Also, at the part where Eric kills everyone and himself when asking who Zero is, he fires 3 shots when only Diana and Sigma are alive, so I'm assuming the 3rd shot was for Q/Delta

Akane's mother kills self in despair -> Akane and Aoi move due to being alone together -> They get captured -> FIRST NONARY GAME holy goddamn frickin this is complex and that's only to the first nonary game
For people curious here is a list of a lot of foreshadowing regarding Q's twist www.reddit.com/r/ZeroEscape/comments/4qsmvu/ztd_spoilerslets_find_all_of_the_foreshadowing/ I have seen a lot of people not liking this twist and that amazes me because in my opinion it is the best crafted twist in the series, there's so much detail to it and it all makes sense (aside from camera angles possibly) It's crazy how the game manages to trick us into thinking Sean is Q without any single dialogue saying that and most of us believed that without a doubt. For me, this twist was the highlight of this game.
It's also good to have it open ended as it literally says anything could happen in the new future they made. Anything else pointing back to the old games would end up as a loop.
I comepletely agree that this twist is the best...999s was ok and VLRs was just plain bad (imo), I was worried that the twist was gunna be meh but the pulled one for the books. Plus Deltas motives just seem so much more crafty than Akanes.
there is more gab/delta deception for the player. after sean pushes the shower button, they have 6 x-passes and can leave. but one of them says "aren't we forgetting someone?" they then discover q and gab have been chained to a pipe in the quantum computer room. after discussing sleeping beauty for a while, they give up on saving them and leave both of them behind. sean returns, though ("i can't just leave him behind") , and asks q not gab, whether he thought staying in the shelter was the right decision.
the only thing that i'm sad about is that we never got closure on K, Alice, and Clover. K was originally supposed to be the deciding factor into changing the timeline and yet he's never mentioned except by a dying sigma. the only thing we go from is that he's either Delta or... Gab. And with Alice and Clover there was something in VLR's epilogue of them travelling to the past. which then the audience was confused as to how... then in game comes the transporter... and yet nada. well we can suppose that in this timeline Alice and Clover are still working for the CIA and researching Free The Soul. but I wonder if Akane and Co. will tell them that Free The Soul were actually trying to save the world in it's own messed up ways...
They were probably never been talked about on the main route due to the fact that they're following a different future on the true end where VLR won't happen on that timeline.
I agree that we never really got closure on them but not to be nit picky I would like to say the K (Kyle Klim) can't be Delta as he was "born" in the VLR timeline and Delta was born during the events of this game. Honestly I thought Alice and Clover were going to be involved this game too as like you said the secret ending to VLR hinted to them that they were going to go back in time (specifically through using the Schrödinger cat method).
That ending was scrapped mostly. Clover and Alice were basically just let go once the AB Project was cancelled. Junpei wouldn't just let those two frozen in pods forever and he's now part of Crash Keys and all. So just put two and two together and imagine that Clover, ALice and SNake are alive doing their little spy work on their own. And the Clover and Alice of the VLR are trapped forever in the future, sad for them but they were sacrifices.
Yeah I get that, but still would have liked for elements of that ending factoring into the game, but I'm still satisfied with how the ending of the game turned out.
I'm pretty sure that ending was never meant to be canon in the first place. You only unlock it by beating every escape room on Hard difficulty, so not everyone will see it. I think the intended interpretation is that the "? man" that takes Kyle's place is actually *you*, the player. "He has arrived at December 25th, 2028." "You will save the world." I don't think anything in that ending was ever supposed to be taken at face value. It was just an extra.
This video was extremely well done especially the first half. I'd say it's some of your best work ever. You should do more videos like this if the opportunity presents itself again.
Something just clicked when you talked about the death of Eric's mother and the trauma he endured. Can Eric be the terrorist that wanted to wipe out the human race with a nuclear bomb? That type of thing seems like something a volatile person like Eric would do. Remember how he was willing to kill everyone as long as he could kill Mira's murderer. At first I thought maybe Eric is Zero, but then thought nah he's too unstable and dumb to pull off this sort of devious decision game. But what if he's the terrorist that wipes out all of mankind?
I would not shoot delta, as I said last time, He is a smart and reliable old man, Who still has alot of talents, I wouldn't let him leave, but ask him to aid us, help us.
Sean has ABT, which means that he will have white blood. They go into more detail of it in VLR if you played that. Since he’s a robot, of course he wouldn’t bleed. It’s a great addition.
One thing about killing Delta or not, it's actually quite obvious that Carlos shoots him. In C-End 1 Zero mentions "The timeline where Carlos did not kill me.". That means he knows Carlos is going to shoot him in the true ending.
2 years late but thats wrong, the timeline where carlos did not kill me meant the timeline where carlos didnt vote to execute Q team as thats where they end up and they get the force quit code, and you didnt catch the meaning of the ending which meant that no matter what choice carlos made, another carlos would do the opposite, since as long as the possibility of something to happen exists, another timeline is created, which means that it doesnt matter if he shoots or not, both options still happen and theres nothing anyone can do about that due to their multiverse theory
I think what I like the most about this game is that the "true end" is one that doesn't lead up to virtue's last reward. I mean ONE of the endings of the game does lead up to that what with sigma getting really injured, phi injected with radical-6, Diana decides sorta to kill 6 billion people and due to shifting Akane makes Junpei forget everything.... So even though the true end is one that could be considered open ended I would really want to see a game that focuses on what could happen there instead. Yeah as long as it doesn't end up with most of humanity dead and same for the main characters. though I never ever liked Mira and Eric...... guess what I'm trying to say is that I HATE how something like VLR actually could happen
Actually I think you missed on little thing on Delta. When Akane solves the anagram that says "With me it makes ten" or whatever, the leftover letters that Akane mentions spell Delta.
the snail is a small change - ∆ - which caused the river of time to take a fork that led to 6 deaths, and to Zero Escape, and to the inexplicable bootstrap paradox of Delta. But if Kurashiki had taken that cab, would that cab driver still have gotten into an accident? Would there still be two deaths? That really depends on how far they were along the journey when the accident happened... but if the accident was unavoidable, the events of 999 might still have happened.
I think its implying that accident was so close to the hospital to the point where the only way you would have been involved is if you were heading there, or at least that's my interpretation

I just have an aversion to bootstrap paradoxes and would rather have an idea of a "starting point" like 999 seems to be, given the involvement of 999 characters in VLR (and of course two of them in ZTD). Basically, I'm imagining that there was some universe that initiated the loop, one that perhaps no longer exists. (Mostly for a fancanon I've been developing, dunno if I'll ever really make the fic.) Then again, even Akane doesn't seem nearly as integral to the overall story as Sigma and Phi... and it's possible the 999 characters could be brought into the AB project even without the events of 999, I suppose... Ah well, probably a silly thing to think about.
The only moment I'm okay with Eric wielding a gun is when he shoots Delta. As quoted from Phi, that 'goddamn old man' needs to burn more than Kokona Haruka or Taeko Yasuhiro deserve. I fangirled a bit when she dropkicked him like when she kicked Dio in VLR. And everyone tried convincing me that the moon's gravity supported Phi's kick. But no, I knee from the very beginning that Phi's overwhelming amounts of badassery helped her dropkick Dio into oblivion.
The moon could explain the height of teh jump,but not the force of the kick.Phi probably used her other powers of the mind to enhance her physical strength so that should could power kick losers into oblivion.
Something none of the epilogue segments seem to realize is that in every route where Carlos survived, there should be two of him running around, since he sent himself back in time with the transporter to rescue Junpei and Akane in one route. Like Delta, that time clone of him is going to exist in all timelines, not just the one where we see him.

I'm sorry that I haven't been commenting as much as I would've wanted to, but for the most part I just didn't have much to say: I was simply enthralled and looking forward to the next video, both for the story and for your wry, amusing commentary, which I personally find really fun. Anyway, thanks so much for this playthrough!
I just want to know how Delta knows everything he does? Yes he can mind hack people, but that doesn't mean he can read memories that none of them have experienced yet. He knew well enough in advance to set up everything to ensure his and Phi's birth and the alternate future where we get the true ending. But where did he learn it all? At least old Sigma knew what to create from going through everything as his younger self.
Dang, all of this reveal about Delta being present in Q-Team all along is like being amazed at the game's story line all over again! I noticed two more Easter eggs regarding Delta that no one seems to have pointed out yet: when they, yet again, pose the question of, "Zero is one of us?" and also, if you happen to have written down the solution to a puzzle and solve it without any in-game hints, the characters will often say that it was more than luck that got you through the puzzle.
This was a trilogy dude. It's over. There's not much they could go off of at this point, I mean they completed their endgame; Radical-6 is exterminated, and our heroes have the resolve to kill that religious extremist bent on world annihilation. We don't need to see tha because we know they can do it now.
The game should indeed get a fourth, this third game was an insult to all those who actually contributed to project blue bird, especially when you know that Uchikoshi got bored of the original story and rewrote the whole thing, explaining why it's pretty bad compared to what was promised.
You can totally make the 4th game work. They find the religious extremist, but it turns out he was expecting them and he has prepared a game for them. In the end he tells them he killed whole mankind because of this other guy that would destroy the entire universe in the future. :)
At first i thought q might have been short for Quark who was in VLR, like maybe they found a way to come back from the future and was trying to help akane and junpei who had basically raised him.
This game has a lot of very good writing fragmens, sadly that all is glued together by not so good writing and the fact that the animations look like they were made by a twelve year old :P
Actually, Delta mostly answers that with his reasoning for why he creates Radical-6. In the original future (being the one where Mira never killed) an unknown terrorist organization releases an unstopabble pandemic and kills almost all of mankind. As a form of self-fulfilling prophecy, Delta shapes a timeline (he's the leader of Free the Soul so he's the one responsible for the original Nonary Game) where the end result is him being born and his father learning the truth and warning a group of Shifters and ability users about the incoming threath. In other words if the sacrifices never happened, the world would not be saved. And it's impossible to SHIFT back to the past and correct every sacrifice, because there's been too many. It's not as simple as just going back to replace Young Sigma like Sigma did with the AB Project. The epilogue where Sean, Eric and Mira try to save Mira from comitting that first crime will just lead to them ending in a world where Radical-6 never happened and everyone is happy... but will be destroyed.
The let's play I watched, they guessed about Phi being their daughter when she confessed that her hair was actually red. But I kind of wish they didn't mention that, because I would have brushed it off and been surprised when it was revealed
But the surgery was supposed to take place 17 years ago, and Carlos' little sister fell into a coma 10 years ago, therefore the timeline wouldn't add up.
I would have shot Delta, for a few reasons: 1) Although nobody died in that history, the conclusions of the other histories were still orchestrated by this delta. This Delta flipped the coin, with a plan to kill if you guessed wrong. He set up the whole thing, intending to kill in other histories in order to fulfill the requirements to be born. Maybe if there is another history where this Delta doesn't set up the decision game, he wouldn't be responsible. But not this one. 2) If it turned out to be a mistake with huge consequences, we could just shift back.
By that logic Carlos and Akane should die as well cause they killed each others in other histories, and maybe even whole cast should die, at least in some histories they voted deliberately to execute one of two other teams.

I'm sure someone else mentioned it and this is way late but there's another two gunshot moment in the transport room with Eric when he kills everyone and I was convinced he killed Gab at first.
I only have one question though, if the whole humanity died in an alternate future and A SINGLE PERSON, a religious fanatic, was responsible for it. Wouldn't a person that important be known? Specially because it is heavily implied that Delta got that information off someone who SHIFTED before they died by the global terrorism attack. It just seems highly unlikely to me that Delta wouldn't come across that information. One more thing, though, how did Delta know who his parents were? All of this i would understand if he could access the morphogenic field to "download" the data from the other his. Meaning that he could get the information by downloading the data from the Delta who was going to die because of the global terrorist attack. And then also some Delta that wasn't transported back to 1904 and that could have been born and have a normal family with Sigma, Diana and Phi (That might be an alternate future from Akane deciding and succeeding in saving Diana and Sigma after she decided to escape alone. It is highly possible that he might is a SHIFTER but lied about being one. Because if that was so, he would certainly know the responsible person for the global terrorist attack. And well, perhaps he went through the same thing that Akane. Back in 999 Akane took care of every detail of the second nonary game because she saw it all on the future so she had to remake it all, in order for her to survive (Quite the paradox). The difference would be that Delta didn't do it to survive but to obtain the mind hacking (and SHIFT'ing ability) as he explained when he mentioned his motives.
sages do you think Gab symbolize the snail? It just a random thought that came to my mind while watching this... it actually makes sense the voting all didn't take place just because of Gab influences the decisions and make the teams vote without a doubt, if Gab wasn't there it would be like the Monty door or whatever that theory that carlos and junpei did where it get a different result every time.
Gab could be seen as that, in truth a lot of things can be the snail. That's the idea. Every little thing you interact with and do, is what creates your future.
To me Gab represents two things. For one, based on his name (Gabriel), he seems to be named after the messenger angel from Abrahamic mythology (e.,g. the angel who told the Virgin Mary that she was pregnant, and that her son would be the son of God, Jesus Christ). He also seems to represent, in a weird way, Delta himself. He's an old dog (Delta is an old man), we take him for granted (just as we take for granted the user interface) and is a big part of the game and story, though in a way that isn't very obvious.
I fucking love this series, a shame it's over. Sigma for life. *I saw quite a few people tripping very hard over Delta being shot with the Crossbow in the Mexican Standoff. Extremely well done perspectives and appropriately fucked up scenario's of Delta's Team. **I wouldn't kill Delta, but I'm a twisted fuck who agrees with the actions and paths of the Three Zeroes. ***Everything each of them did was in accordance with a greater good mentality, and Delta made the objective choice.
I have a litte thing that bothers me in retrospect: the puzzle made in Study is really poorly made, if you take into consideration, that Delta is there with Sean, Eric and Mira. First off, you have to shoot arrows into the pictures of Q-Team, that means you should need to shoot Sean, Eric, Mira and Delta, but you only can/need to shoot Sean, Eric and Mira, because there is no portrait for Delta. You could maybe argue, that the portrait displaying Sean is actually a portrait of Delta, but even then you can't get around the fact, that Mira says: "You have to shoot the 3 of us" or something similar, point is, she only mentions 3 people, when they are 4. Also if you could interpret Sean's portrait as Delta's, then why wouldn't they simply include the portrait in the status screen as well , because in the beginning you would still think it's Sean and not Delta. Another things is, that they go upstairs to be safe from the heavy explosion they use from the grenade launcher to open the glass safe, but Delta at this point should still be in his wheelchair and would have a hard time getting there with the others. And if he stayed down, I can't imagine that no one said something about his safety. Another thought coming to my mind is, that Delta maybe wasn't there, while the others investigated the Study, because unlike other rooms, they weren't trapped in this one. But then it would seem rather unlikely and a bit far fetched, that he entered just as Sean, Eric and Mira opened the last safe and had the standoff afterwards, so that he could be executed by Sean.
I wouldn't have shot Delta. Because in the end it was all part of his plan; a Machiavellian plan, sure, but it aimed to the salvation of human kind. Only one big thing bothers me: I get that Delta has alway been a member of Q-team, so it's a 4-members team. But then, why is Sean NOT on the status screen? Why the execution of Qt only releases THREE X-passes? I thought that Sean might not be part of the game, but he even has the bracelet on, and he is forced to undergo the same rules as theirs. They even blame him for the decisions he takes in place of Q! How is it possible?
Yeah that's part of what made the whole Q reveal strange to me when I thought back on it. 1) Why didn't anyone on Q team ask sean what his name was? He was an unknown entity, and you'd think having some sort of name for him would be pretty necessary since they needed to interact with him. 2) Why didn't they think it strange that he had a bracelet on but didn't have a spot on the board to reveal an X-pass? You'd think they would have mentioned it during the 3 way standoff decision since killing sean wouldn't get Mira and Eric the X-pass they needed to escape anyway. So why bother engaging in a 3 way standoff with him?
well, about the 2nd one consider that in that line no one of the Q team was executed, so they couldn't know that Sean's death wouldn't have revealed any Xpass. About the 1st, I assume that they knew already what his name was (if you write "SEAN" in "Who killed Mira?" Eric says "I knew it was you", and right after you write "DELTA" in "Who is Zero?" the others suddenly start to call you "Sean"). Maybe he told them at the beginning of the game. But it's still silly that they always refer to Sean as "him", "the boy", etc. even if they know his name. And of course it's even more silly that, magically, after the old man is revealed, everybody calls Sean by his name.
1. They did in fact know Sean's name. I can only assume that Q-Team had some sort of off-screen introduction session where Sean introduced his name. 2/ When you think about it, someone did find it strange. After all, the whole time Eric was saying that Sean was suspicious and was probably a part of it, but the player just writes it off as Eric being paranoid when, in hindsight, his suspicion makes a lot more sense. As for the stand-off, I think it was more that Sean was protecting Q/Delta rather than anyone actually aiming at him. This is evidenced by the fact that he seems to be standing right in front of him, as seen when you choose to shoot him.
Isn't it because Mira always lets Sean make the decision? You'll notice every time Q team has to make a decision Mira basically stops Eric and encourages Sean to make a decision because she's interested in what kind of person this kid is. And there's only 3 X=Passes because... Sean can't die. He IS a robot and all that jazz.
Yes, but only Delta knows that. So why doesn't anyone else find it odd? At the "Triangle", for example, if you don't shoot, Mira kills both Q and Sean. Only one Xp is released, and yet they don't bat an eye. And Sean not being on the status screen is still unexplained. Again: it's odd and no one mentions it.
I wonder if the game is ever going to mention just who it is responsible for destroying 8 billion people. Is Carlos involved? He looks like a clone of brothers, just like Dio.
They don't bother talking to him because he can hear. nor see. Thus, why they never shout at him. Like when Gab goes through the "vent" they only shout to Eric or Mira. He can't hear them, so why bother. Doesn't mean they stop trying. Eric does in one scene, even though it looks like he's talking to Gab.

I got a question that hurts my head. If 2029 Phi was named after the 2008 Phi, who was taken care of by the 1904 Phi, who was copied from 2029 Phi....who the hell was the first Phi?
Well the first Phi is the one who is born in the bomb shelter and put in the transporter, however it creates another Phi in 1904 who is like Phi2, Phi2 is then transported to 2008 as Phi3, so Phi1 likely dies of starvation in the bomb shelter with Diana and Sigma, but Phi2 is raised by the workers at the factory in 1904 and becomes an great scientist if I remember properly, then Phi3 who was sent to 2008 is the Phi that we know from VLR and ZTD. However, her name and her brooch are bootstrap paradoxes because they exist only due to themselves.
So if Sean, Mira and Eric were to go to the transporter and actually stop Mira from becoming a murderer, what would have happened? My guess would be if the woman wasn't murdered then Eric's family would be ok (Maybe because wouldn't Eric know that Mira killed his mum?), the surgeon would have probably survived curing Sean and Akane would still have a family. But would that mean Delta wouldn't have made a Sean robot? Akane wouldn't have been kidnapped? Maybe Eric not meeting Mira? Or are these possibilities still possible with these happy endings? Anyway, this game ended with a lot of possibilities so this might all happen. My head hurts T_T
My real question is how in the world did Kurashiki get blamed for the murder? Eric grew up in America, Akane is Japanese? I don't understand how the woman Mira killed is Eric's mother.
Theres a lot of reasons as to how Mira could have killed Erics mom. Maybe she and her own family traveled to Nevada, conducted her murder, and got away with it that much easier by going back to CA. The details behind the Kurashiki's are also pretty "unknown". He was a businessman, so one can assume he may have traveled to America on business. That would also explain why Akane knows so little about her parent's death.

really nice work sage especially on the first half. now about the big dilemma....would i shot zero? i was thinking on going on a big text wall about how i find curious that the game is more or less cruel depending on wether or not someone decided or not kill other team and on something pecualiar about the shifting on the "Final decission" fragment but in the end all of that is irrelevant From a pragmatic standpoint, no. He could still be usefull or even key to avoiding the end of the world. From a standpoint of wether i like/dislike the character and wether i think he is right or wrong.....well also no. First of all i really like zero/delta not only for being a crafting old motherfucker who in the end wins, and has his emotional side who rarely shows (because what he is doing) but it is there. Second the only diference between the second zero and the other two is that went even more extreme but also the stakes were human extinction. who its worst? the men doing something horrible to prevent a catastrophe or the man does nothing and just waits for death? (damm this reminds me to gundham tanaka on the funhouse) third as i said earlier Zero its shown being cold but not emotionless (Reality) and the only person that might have something against would be Mira. He might like or pity the people on who he constantly inflicts horror (heck 3 of them are his family) but he does it because it is necesary. and last he is not a coward as he is totally willing to face the same punishments that he inflicts on the rest, he doesnt avoids the executions or the scenarios where he could die and lets not forget he cant even shift. Countless Deltas were willing to meet a final death with the hope of creating one scenario where everyone could be saved and if there wasnt a Delta willing to go that extreme everyone would die.
In a way Delta never did anything different from Sigma. He created a horrible death game with high stakes in order to create an opportunity to create a timeline where humanity is saved.
Sages personally I wouldn't shoot delta... he had good intentions he wanted a safe world and brought shifters together to do that do you agree? would you shoot him?
You do know what they say about "good intentions," don't you? So he wanted a safe world, but the results that happens doesn't justify what he was doing. Can you justify him killing six billion people to get at one person, even if it was prevent mankinds doom? You can't justify what he did even with whole group uniting to stopping person he spoke. So, it's not about choosing to shoot him, but his intentions well intentioned or not, is not justified.
FreedomFromReality That still doesn't excuse how he was going about his good intentions. Delta in the end timeline might not be using the group for his goal, but he'll undoubtedly use others in a similar fashion, and there is the his cult Free the Souls as well. He'll likely use them to for his good intentions, and end up doing worse as always.
Hmm well yes I suppose so but then again what if he intends for them to kill him? So just like the snail he'll cause a terrible chain of events to occur?
That's a hard one to really explain. I know he means to find a way to "save" the world. However, 6 billion lives in one history just to stop one man is a bit much. The fact he offers the choice means that perhaps he sees hope in the future without him. I'd probably not shoot him, as the man has obviously tried very hard to make sure this happens for a reason and he does show compassion to those he cares about.
I would kill Delta. He shot Gab. He may have had his reasons, and maybe in the new timeline Gab is fine and he wasn't directly the Delta who had done it. But he has to go.
