I totally relate to your reasons for shaving: feel at my utmost best, confident and true to myself when shaved. Have had a shaved head for 25 years now. Beard and/or stache even strengthens this . It’s powerful and shows you are in control

Man I wish shaving my head kept anxiety away. I’ve been bald full time since 2012 and I’ve had anxiety attacks off and on. Getting better at handling them with age and experience though.

The buzz cut also feels true to my identity. I did it first at 15 and am 21 now :)

No one is beyond being susceptible anxiety, but wow you are the last person I would have thought had experienced anxiety. Goes to show, even if you haven't had serious trauma in your life, it can still happen to anyone with a few bad habits or dietary choices here or there it can sneak up on you. Glad you got it fixed.
