Overlord is so OP especially with speaker towers. I just d/l the Shockwave though, I'm just starting to explore the different factions, but OL has always been one of my favorite in China. I wish we could have mod with other nations too, India, Russia (like the TEOD mod), Israel, Germany, UK, France, Australia...That would be insanely awesome.
In groups plus all enhancements (including the "Search and Destroy" strategy and improved rate of fire courtesy of the Avenger), Laser Crusaders will always beat Overlords decked with their respective upgrades.
@@JemRau Hmm, I think this set-up will only give Laser Tanks a hard time and probably would only succeed in a vacuum or pitched battles like this one. Firstly, this means less Overlords since you are diverting funds to bunkers and Tank Hunters. This is made worse by the fact that Overlords take a while to get to the frontline due to their painfully low mobility. Lastly, the Avenger(s), whose anti-rocket weapon benefits from "Search & Destroy" battle plan, is/are there to mitigate the damage dished out by the Tank Hunters. As to LT's being easily run over by O's this scenario is seen only when the former are not in sufficient numbers, not ordered competently, & not supported properly, or in "contrived" situations in this kind of videos. The damage output further bolstered by the increased range and rate of fire is too high for this to happen. If the LT's keep to picking off the O's 1 by 1, their camp is the one likely to be left standing whdn the dust settles. The only real threat to the LT's are the TH's that are left bunkerless after the O blows up, which is why taking along a Pathfinder or 2 is crucial. Still, the only way to really find out is via tests. What are your thoughts?
@@jeremiahoctaviano9100don't think LT will overcome overlords fully upgraded. If not tank hunters, the gattling Canon will do. They're just the big boy tank in the game.

I don't get it, why are the Laser-Tanks in a group so much stronger than the Overlord, but alone they have no chance...I see it so often in these videos, that the weaker tanks are in a group way stronger.
I actually don't know, I can only think that due to the Overlords being so close together, the very small radius damage is hitting the ones on the sides. That's why the top and bottom Overlords don't die straight away, because they are only getting the radius damage of one Laser Crusader, whereas the rest of the Overlords are being hit by 2.
How could laser tank defeat overlord? With composite armour laser has 600 hp and takes -80 hp each 2 seconds. Overlord has 1100 hp and does double -80 hp each 3 sec.That's impossible.
I'm not an expert but I think it has to do with the units being too close together and the Laser Tanks have a small radius for secondary damage. Overlords are hardly ever that close unless they somehow stack, for example, coming out of a Tunnel. I presume the secondary damage caused the most impact since they were super close.
Can't promise a video. If you already have some understanding of scripting then: I first have the enemy as allies, upgrade the units through off-map buildings, name the buildings, then in scripts, UNIT > COMMAND BUTTON then choose the unit and upgrade. I also set timers, SCRIPTS, TIMERS. Once units are ready, I use a timer to make the players enemies. If I can make a video, I will.

@@hamdyemad861 Because they are very close and take splash damage (if units are very close to each other, then they also take the damage that the other unit took).
