I really love this more upbeat-sounding opening. When you've played enough games by Falcom, you start to notice countless things that are similar in their games! For instance, that the main jingle of this song sounds remarkably like Ys Origin's opening theme's (Genesis Beyond the Beginning) beginning and climax, the mid section of some songs like Silver Will and Prelude to the Omen have precisely the same pattern, how Randy's S-Craft in this game looks exactly like Loewe's S-Craft "Dead Emperor's Sword" in Trails in the Sky, or how freaking beautifully well the plot of every Trails game fits into one another, among so many more!! (Seriously, there are so many, but this comment is long enough as it is.) I like to think of each of these as really awesome references to the fans that notice them. :D
Also that in every trails arc the first game has an upbeat op but the second game gets serious! It's like first it's introducing you to the wonders of the place but then after is where it gets real.
Hm I didn't realize it was already out, though looking it up I guess today IS the 30th :| Personally I just got into Ys and possibly will check out Sora no Kiseki, but if you'll be uploading some Zero no Kiseki in the near future then it's bound to be an interesting watch *thumbs up*
@exerion0890 This is an RPG game, either you die in battles or you win until the very last boss. So, basically, one ending possible. xD Romance? I guess? Just a little though I think.
@ 1:17, Bracers' Guild REPRESENT! But yeah, with the announcement of Second Chapter getting localized, the future for this series in the west is honestly the best it's ever looked. The way I see it, if XSEED (or anyone else, for that matter) can just push through Trails in the Sky: the 3rd, the rest of the series being available natively on the PS Vita helps localization chances TREMENDOUSLY, especially if the Vita picks up traction in the next year or so (as I hope it does).
They did the same with Sky Kai which disappoints me. No matter how much you want to deny it, evo is the definitive version with the full voice acting, refined gameplay, and the neat extra sidequests. I would have dropped Sky if I was gonna play it with MIDI music and the art style that isn't really fitting with the rest of the games after it. Evo is not a bad choice at all
@SnKouli oh my God, all of non-ingame footage shown in trailers was shown in this video.... PLEASE tell me there are more anime/CG cutscenes aside from the opening!
Wow, awesome!!!!! I'm playing right now Legend of heroes: trails of the sky, that was released the other day, and they say that XSEED plans to release the full trilogy, but someone knows if they also will release Zero no kiseki???? It looks pretty good *grin* Thanks for the op video, awesome ^^
Zero no Kiseki is going to be an nightmare to localize. I think amount of text in Zero no kiseki alone is enough to surpass the amount of text that Trails in the Sky trilogy. I spent more than 600 hours playing the Trails in the sky trilogy, yet amount of text in Zero no Kiseki made me give up talking to all NPCs. Story itself is just as good as Trails in the sky trilogy though.
Andrew Kim there’s a fan made translation online I found it and it’s pretty good and there is another for ao no kiseki it’s too bad bc I would rather buy it and support the creators
It would be awesome to see that. The biggest problem however is probably the length of the translation-process. Zero no Kiseki happens to have one of the longest video game scripts ever made and if you think about the troubles of Sora no Kiseki-translation (one of the translators tried to kill himself because of the depression caused partly by the workload) we'll have to wait for a long while.
Crimson Steel Because Xseed can't port things themselves, so the only solution is for Falcom themselves to care enough about the west to get off their asses. Sen I is coming to PC though so it's a bit more hopeful than before . . .
I agree, but like most im very impatient, so im settling for playing the eng patch of Zero no kiseki on the emulator. its not to bad and at least i can play the full game in english
***** I say you're doing the game a disservice playing a google translate patch. You won't fully comprehend the subtle things that pepper the game and for this series, that is one of its key pluses.
Zero Gunz They're the stories of mostly different characters, in different places, dealing with different situations and uncovering different plots. As you play more though, you realize that every character in every Kiseki game is way more connected than you might think... ;-)
