This is Liger Zero a.k.a. "Zero", a reFURbished quad by me.. When I first got him he was in much need of some lovin. The original maker, PawsandClaws Productions, made him about 2 and a half years ago. What did I do? Here's a list :)
New head- The old one was far too big for me. Here's a link to his head in detail: • Zero (detail)
I also made new front stilts as the old ones were far too long for me. I made the new ones with two joints.
Redid the end of the tail
Took in the body more to fit a 5'2 slim frame
Removed all of the glued seams on the body
Redid the airbrushing, darkening up the markings
Enlarged the heel fur
Lengthened the foot paw leg sleeve
Added shoulder padding
attached the back stripes a bit better
Repaired the hip and back padding
Added a new wire core to the tail
Reshaped the chest padding a bit
Repaired the damage to the rear feet
Reshaped the legs ever so slightly (where the front of the leg meets the body)
All in all I think that's it. There's a few more minor thigns I would like to do but at this time I'm really happy with him.
I know I'm a little hunched over. The ground was wet and was seaping though the rear paws and I'm still getting used to wearign a quad. ^^;

Hi ya sharpr, Just a tip for walking in quads, it smuch comfer. Alternate your legs say youre right arm goes forwad, then you bringyoure left leg forwad at teh same time and vice vesa, and if you leave youre legs behind you in a bigger gate it somehow makes it more comfy.

Wow that's so wonderful! I love the design, and the little mohawk! Haha X3 Just saying one thing, the front legs look a little long c: I don't know if they are long because of the position your back needs to be in or anything. If they were a little shorter, the character would look more realistic! (If that's what you want) I love the articulated paws though, just wonderful. Great job!!

Wow you really did a neat job with the refurbishing. I love the new head you gave him, I like the added redness. =3 He is so awesome. I want a quadsuit! =o have you done commissions for them before or is this the first time you've worked on one? (^.~ got a price rang if you'd think about doing one?)

This is one of best fur/quadsuit i have ever seen and will probably see for a long time, I love his design - especially the feet and markings on his face! ^_^ If I ever get the money I would definetely commision you without a doubt. :)

I love the design too much! Even though its dark, I think i would be able to point the costume out from miles away :3 Lol, takes real talent to move in a quad suit xD

It looks kinda real, like there is no creature like that but if there was it would be mistakened for something real... Well it might be a real animal?.?.?

Are quadsuits very hard to walk in? Being on all four like that does it hurt your back or front legs or your neck anything like that?

@ThePandaBerrr They're actually a pretty good length, but some padding adjustment is in order. X3 My cameraman kept coming up front when I was wanting a few side shots to see what exatly needs to be done lol. As for the balance, it's more practice than anything. I've worn him for such a short time it takes a bit to get used to wearing him or any quad. ^^;

@ThoronWildCreations He's actually pretty comfy as is lol X3 it takes a little practice walking in a quad indeed, especially when yer unsure where your fet are (hind feet are a little loose so I keep my feet a little closer to keep them in line lol) Should be fixed by MFF. ^^ Thank you though!

I'm thinking... Using the technique to make the front-legs moveable makes the hind-legs seem a little stiff. Maybe a construction like this (hawke.livequest.de/grafix/hoves.JPG) for the shoes of the hindpaws could make it look even more realistic, for they would roll up, too!

Looks great! If you put a little elastic on the leg joints, they wont move asmuch and you wont trip over your paws :D

@ThoronWildCreations i tried walking like that in my quad and i found it super uncomfortable and awkward. to me it was like trying to trot but slow motion. but i guess everyone is different^^

@ichigogirl34 Lol that actually wasn;t me. X3 I've yet to go to a con and he's yet to see one with the new upgrades. He's going to debute once again this year at MFF though :)
