Targets tremble before the Tremor 3. Testing is over; time for the full review of the Zero Tech Trace Advanced 4-24x50mm long range rifle scope. This new Japanese rifle scope packs all of the precision and capability of larger 34mm-tube scopes into a smaller, lighter package with a 6x zoom ratio for extra versatility in the great outdoors. The image quality is almost up there with the Leupold Mk5, and its eyebox is certainly smaller, but when you factor in the included sunshade and Tennebraex flip caps, the Zero Tech starts to hold its own in the US market. Aussies, Kiwis, Brits, Scots, and Irish should especially consider this scope, since it will probably cost considerably less than any US imports.

Tremor3 is without comparison my favorite reticle. No other reticle is as easy and fast to use. I’ve been looking at the Zerotech range and wondering about their durability over time. They do offer a good solution at an interesting price.

Does Zero Tech come with a no questions asked lifetime warranty and do they have a US based warranty center where do you have to send them in for warranty?

It's an unconditional warranty, but I'm not sure about where it is sent. I assume we have a US processing center.

Curious It appears you have a Boyt AT One stock. On the bottom of the butt section there appears to be a filler to square off the bottom edge of the stock. Are they available somewhere?

I would expect the Tract to have the same performance. The Toric UHD I tested a while back was ridiculously crisp. I haven't tried a Nexus yet.

As just a regular shooter, here in the US, I find no compelling reason to choose the Trace Advanced over say a Nightforce NXS or NX8, Leupold VX6, etc. I would feel more comfortable putting that much money down on known quantities as opposed to taking a chance. Certainly not at the price point their attempting to break into the market with. I don't think they are going to find much market footing offering comparable products at comparable prices. Just my 2¢.

That scope is a good scope. But it cannot compete with the tract toric. Fifteen hundred bucks. For the tract toric.

i bought one of these. It has never worked! I have sent it back three times and they sent back refurbished crap. The elevation turret does not go down below 2mils. Waiting on them sending me a new one or my money back. Would not recommend.
