Zero Time Dilemma OST: BGM 45 ~Morphogenetic Sorrow~ [Mix 3] ZTD Ver. 

Honestly, this theme makes me feel bad about Junpei. Think about it, the man's been in the three Zero Escape games, and we don't see him getting much of a happy ending on screen. There's the Epilogue Files and all, but... I dunno, those feel kinda half-assed. He's also gone through _so_ much shit, god damn. To count: Stopped seeing his (at the time) best friend/love interest after she was kidnapped and thrown into an incinerator. Was kidnapped by a paradoxical version of said best friend nine years later, to save the child version of her through the morphogenetic field. Then, after Akane disappeared _again,_ the two wound up at DCom. This time, he's not even the protagonist - therefore, not bound by plot armor. ...Not like he ever really was. In about half the timelines, Junpei winds up dying one way or another, usually without knowing. In one of the timelines (D-End 1, C-End 1), Akane disappears _yet again,_ and Junpei's left to wander alone after the Radical-6 outbreak. Oh, did I mention that in this timeline, Junpei actually proposed to her? Adding salt to the wound, at this point. Sure, he eventually found Quark, but that by itself was... an ordeal. This is the timeline I'll be following from now, given it's where Virtue's Last Reward takes place. Then, 45 years after the DCom event, both Junpei and his infant son are kidnapped and taken to _another_ Nonary Game. In just about all the timelines, Quark winds up either incapacitated, dead, or _both._ Then, it turns out the entire thing, the whole Ambidex Game, was to prevent the Radical-6 outbreak from happening in the first place. Who reveals this, very important piece of information? None other than Akane, of course! It's implied that, at this point, the love they had between each other had long died out, at least on Akane's part. Junpei just can't catch a break, can he?

I think is pretty ironic that "life is simply unfair" is one of the most important (if not the most) premises of ZTD, but beyond the storyline, I felt it like a constant reminder that the ideas and bases for this game were incredibly amazing but yet they didn't succeed as they should have, leaving very small budget for Uchikochi and the studio for working on it. Life is simply unfair, isn't it?

I really wanted to see Junpei give a proper proposal to Akane... or at least confront her about the shit she put him through in the first game... cus it seemed like he was gunna do both

the revolver scene was dope

The real tragedy of this game is not having Junpei have his leather jacket on in the game. Jokes aside, yes, the animations and the 3D models leave a lot to be desired. Kind of wished they went back to 999 route with just 2D animations of them.

Every single time I hear this song, A tear is shed...most of it cuz im thinking about that damn Sudoku...but in Zero time dilemma...everything is so good as the end of the series...im only at 1/2 of the game and everytime I tell myself to take a small brake, I cant...Damn you perfect game!

It had its flaws, but at the end after finishing the game, I was sad, that it was over.

This series had the biggest impact on me and my mind from all media products in the entire world. No other game, no other movie, anime, book or song impacted me more than those 3 games.

it's funny to me, seeing so many people talk about how much they don't like this game, when vlr had that same reception when it arrived. the only reason we got time dilemma is because fans in europe and north america begged for it; and honestly, i found this to be a lot more entertaining than 999. perhaps it was the darker themes with soft edges, or how they wrapped everything up, or even the wide variety of music and ties to the other games, (or the fact that you don't have to replay the entire game to get each ending) but i really prefer this over 999. vlr will always be my top favourite, but this one was easily better than 999 imo, and i'm so thankful we got it.

This reminds me a lot when I played 999. I was crying when this song was playing. I want to see what happens at the end of ZE. I've buyed ZTD but I can't stand its animations. I liked when it was like a visual novel ;-;

I tried to play this game as a big fan of 999 (didn't like VLR that much) but quit within the first hour. The dialogue, especially between Phi and Sigma, was incredibly painful.

WHY THE HELL IS THE ONLY C END THE ONE THAT TIES INTO VLR?!?!?!!?!?!!!??

Game had the potential to be ground breaking, shame that they just felt the need to add so many new characters into the last game, i guess the issues had started with the last-half of VLR, seems like a game that they started but wrote the ending as they went along. Sucks, 999 is still the best one, NOT THE remake that removed 40% of the writing, the original DS one.

I do not know how they managed to remove every single emotion from this song but they did do that
