I’m looking at a 0350 maybe and I’m glad I found an LTK review. I still have that amazing Adamas I bought from you a few years ago my Friend thank you and I’ve been away for a while “Military Crap” lol but back looking at budget bargains and hoping for a Spyderco Police or ZT maybe. I like the G10 on both sides of this ZT unlike the ones with two different sides I don’t care for. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
Those are some of my all time favorite ZTs. At one point I had 'every' version and color and scale material they made. And of course, sold every single one...now I have none....C'est la vie...
I have always had a soft spot for this ZT. Love the tiger stripes. Happy to know they continue the "over built" theme to the liner, but I think they could have milled a little out to get it to the 5 oz sweet spot on weight. Just my opinion. Nice review LTK!
I bought one of these at a deep discount. I installed a deep carry pocket clip. The blade has a longer cutting edge than many longer blades, such as the Spyderco PM2. Of course, the ZT 0350 is like a battle axe compared with the PM2. I tend to carry the PM2 more. Both are keepers.
LTK- I have one of these. I got it on the secondary market and it came with no box which was really disappointing given ZT's great presentation. I had tiger stripe Micarta scales made for it. I like the way it turned out. Many say to disable the assist on this knife. I did it, but the washers are small and it wasn't good as a flipper so I put the spring back in. Nice review.
I really liked this when it was released, but back then wasn't going to cough up that kind of money. A lot of these were just glorified/overbuilt Kershaws. KAI should really move this back to Kershaw, and go back to collaborations with Onion and Strider. Remember the ZT 0500 M.U.D.D.? Too ahead of its time, and now it's a hit as a Millit built knife.
I personally never liked the 0350 - a bit too wide for a really comfortable hammer grip. Used to have the 0300 and 0121 which I also didn't like for the same reason.
Those are not thumb studs.. that's the "blade stop" instead of a standard "barrel spacer" type stop pin found on most folders. Been eye balling this ZT for awhile. Haven't fully committed due to the assisted opening & the absolutely *ugly* advertising opposite the show side. Why ruin that side of the blade ZT ??
