Two short animation clips created for the Zero West Watches company. They shows the Mosquito bombers of 487 Squadron RAF (Yellow section, 2nd wave) flying over the English Channel and attacking gestapo jail in Amiens during operation Jericho on February 18 1944.
The main objective was to free the French Resistance members.
The beautiful Mosquito model and textures by my great buddy - Adam Tooby and me.
Animation, Scene, Sims, Postproduction by myself.

You’ve got some real talent mate, this CGI is absolutely gorgeous. Infinitely superior in every regard to the multi-million dollar disappointment that is Masters of the air.

Nicely done. These are the Mosquitoes of the 2nd section of the first wave that broke off to the North when 10 miles from the target to attack North to South right after the lead section dropped following the Amiens-Albert road, right?

Thank You very much. I am a big fan of Your films. Yes, that is Yellow section of 2nd wave. I based on Osprey book about Amiens attack.

Beautiful work! I would love to see a remake of the classic 633 Squadron with some of your skills. Great movie although some of the special effects were lacking in 1964. The musical score was outstanding, and seeing Mosquitos flying through the Scottish Highlands was a sight to behold. Talented people like yourselves, and a couple real life warbirds could bring something like that to life.

Oh yes. I watched 633 Squadron again several weeks ago. I absolutely loved it. This has the same feeling as the Battle of Britain movie (they were made in the same time period). When watched this, I finally understood the art of british cinematography. The way they blocked frames with actors, how scenes are perfectly lit - it amazed me. Perhaps FX's look outdated and some "aerial" shots created with use of RC models look too obvious but still that is a great movie and I love to go back to such ones. Wish I once fully understand how to re-create the real stuff so it look real not CGI. Still, that's a long way.
