I really really love Crush. The boys sound amazing as usual but now I need whoever produced over me to come back

taerae was SHINING. hanbin always surprises me with how good his voice is bc of how his vocals was never really the focus on boys planet , loving the music tho

1:16 i know im not the only one who thought how fast yujin's vocal improvement is! he is definitely a lot better now than before and he seems to be more confident(?) idk how to explain it exactly but yeahh im very happy for him

Matthew was shining in Take My Hand!!! his vocal tone really suits the song plus the melody and how he enunciates every syllable. idk he just really ate that song 🥺

agree on the empty production!! dying for some stacked vocals tho it is an improvement a bit over the last album. melting point def my fav track of them all, been on repeat this week. i feel like they're cementing a signature sound, which is cool.

i really love how they're able to showcase a stronger concept like this for the title track while still maintaining gorgeous melodies with amazing vocals. the percussion sounds are throwing a lot of people off but i honestly LOVE IT, especially with earphones on

i gotta admit it this album definitely topped the debut album so far no joke 😭😭 all of the bsides are so good and i like them all it's crazy. the sudden change of crush did caught me off-guard at first but as i keep listening to it, crush instantly becomes my favorite lol the vocals r too good

I'll tell you something. This song would've been EPIC if the pots and pans were not the first part of 1 & 2 choruses. It should've been a dance break right after the second chorus and then everything calmed down just like it did with Ricky. It would've been Infinite The Chaser level of grandness in the 4th generation, this truly had everything in it to be THIS grand. That being said, it's still a great song and they showed more of other members vocals (Jiwoong finally being utilized as a vocal in the title track???????? thank you) and I get why people would get thrown off but the pots and pans take up 20 seconds divided into two choruses, and I did get over the first shock in the third listen. As a side note... In Bloom was too much of a perfect debut so this really had THE competition to be compared with.

There really wasn't a way Crush was gonna beat in bloom in my book. Wasnt happening. It's the beat drop and shoutiness they do at the beginning of the chorus that took away from an otherwise solid track. Not as bad as I thought and it still feels like a zb1 track but I wouldn't disagree if someone said it was generic. The bsides this time were of better quality but i prefer the tracks from YITS.

I vibe with the song but even I'll admit that it's probably partially because of hanbin looking SO damn good dancing to them pots and pans. If anyone can make it work, it's that man

i was thrown off by crush initially but now it’s my favourite song on the album the singing is just too beautiful 😂 i love how even when it’s a “noisy” song we can still hear SINGERS SING which really lacked in 4th gen bg noise music. also this albums bsides were sm stronger than yits and they’re really making a sound for them which i love

I enjoyed Crush more than In Bloom but I like a little noise music here and there so I guess I’m the target demographic. The pots and pans part didn’t bother me. I think the album overall clears Youth In The Shade with ease

I did notice when listening to it on spotify the production felt a bit lacking, on spotify atleast it felt a bit flat like it's hard to distinguish all the sounds and the voices felt a bit too low in the mix, and I have good headphones. I think there was a mistake in the mix/master of the album. I did love all the songs tho apart from that

I love ZB1 vocally and I think Hanbin is like the ideal idol imo, but the pots and pans thing just isn’t my style. I was pretty disappointed :( wish it wasn’t a part of the first choruses, wanted something fuller!

I wish they added more classical instrumentals to it it would make this way better me thinks

I'm a huge fan of them so i know how talented they are and i feel like theyre just not getting songs that let them show their full potential, which is a damn shame! Crush has some good parts but not enough to "save" the song in my opinion. You took the words out of my mouth!! They do need more layered vocals, the track sounds so empty... Stacked vocals would absolutely elevate the song.

You're very right saying that Crush sounds kinda emotional. I wish it had a proper storyline too, kinda like what &TEAM does if you're familiar with them? The outro of Crush made me tear up when I first listened to it, it's really really beautiful.
