Between 18 th - 24 th of June, island visitors experienced Zeus+Δione innovative ‘Kaiki’ boat
pop-up store, moored in the islands of Hydra & Spetses.
‘Kaiki’ is a traditional Greek boat used since the ancient times for fishing and trading around
Aegean and Ionian seas. Individually handcrafted by skilled boat builders using pine, each
‘Kaiki’ is a unique testament to centuries of passion and hard work. This sentiment is shared
by Zeus+Δione with brand values rooted in craftsmanship, Greek tradition and heritage,
channelled into premium products with a since of integrity and purpose.
Zeus+Δione ‘Kaiki’ boat pop-up store, started its journey on June 18 th in Hydra Harbor. With
fascinating history, stunning aesthetics and cosmopolitan air, Hydra occupies a special place
in the heart of the brand. The vibrant island has inspired the brand’s previous collections
and acted as a backdrop for campaign shoots.
After Hydra, Zeus+Δione ‘Kaiki’ boat sailed east to the beautiful island of Spetses, moored
in the Posidonion harbor and Palio Limani . With a history knotted with ‘Kaiki’, Spetses was,
and still is, one of the most famous places in Greece where these iconic boats are made.
Not only a training ground for some of the best artisans and wood craftsmen in the country,
Spetses and the neighboring Kilada place, are still central to the maintenance of the heritage
of ‘Kaiki’ boat craft.
On board, Zeus+Δione presented a special selection of the brand’s Summer 2018
collections. Suitable for sun-soaked days and relaxing evenings, summer living in the city or
more rustic island life, products that embody the unique Zeus+Δione ethos and aesthetics
artfully presented οn the iconic “Kaiki” boat.
