Zeus, Master of Olympus - The Eastern Frontier (Part 2) 

Well well well! About 12h ago I put up a video on the recent Gw2 announcements and promised to have this up too, so here it is! Sorry about the gap this week, I kept putting off uploading Zeus until AFTER I'd done a SoTo stream but then somehow always found a reason to put off said SoTo stream... (the story seriously isn't grabbing me). But nevermind all that I guess, next episode of FF6 coming soon too!

Glad to see another Zeus video! I got too used to an upload every other day and was really missing it!

This really was a great one. I love how it went from a kraken-infested shithole to a beautiful money printing machine. (The food issues never left though) That agricultural gods district really was top notch!

Generally, you shouldn't leave buildings open to fire. The maintenance guys will come to put it out, but they will leave their usual routes which increases the risk of fire and collapse in those usually protected areas (I think you can trigger a chain reaction with this). There is a map view which you can activate which shows you the amount of damage or risk of fire for every building, so you can easily see which buildings lack protection.

That maintenance post for the palace breaks me. xD The guy there walked out next to the houses because of course it also borders there (12:07ish, I mean that one). But you resolved that with the new road for Athena. :) "I started this episode thinking this will be tough" ... famous last words. :D Loved that bit about the olive TREEvia. :D Those random growers lodges... (43:47) xD I love the temples of Athena and Dionysos because of the trees and the vines. Especially the vines. I just looks so nice to have some nature stuff around those temples. 57:00ish: who needs city walls, just put columns around the whole thing. :P This city... starving, but rich. xD xD Guess you can't eat Drachma...

The Kraken in this game is 100% inspired by the 1981 movie clash of the titans, it even looks nearly the same.

Ethiopia appeared as a civilization in civ 6 in one of the later expansions. In Zeus' time period (which is guess is somewhere in 4th century BC) Ethiopia was something of a major power with contact with greece/rome (I'm going off really vague memory from civ, I have very little knowledge of history for Africa other than the little bits I've read on wikipedia and the civ entries) so it somewhat makes sense they have the capability to be antagonistic towards you in this game. Except I don't think the region was even called Ethiopia during this game's time period.

The only thing I remember from Xena is Kevin Sorbo's face.
