this is the meaning of the mv (got it from a fb comment) This is a true story of a Mother’s Sacrifice during the China Earthquake. After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supported by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescue team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure. He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “ The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up. The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

I was only tearing up from the video and then I read the comments and the tears came tumbling down. This is the first time an SM MV made me cry.

Seriously, how can ppl be confused about the story? His mother died in an earthquake when he was a child, one day he accidentally meets a girl who looks like his mother so he started hanging around her a lot. Then the girl finds out that it's not *that* kind of love and it's actually just tao missed his mother. So she leaves in the end, but Tao's still happy that he met her because it was like he saw his mum again even for a short time.

When the mother was discovered by the rescuers, she had already died from the house that collapsed. However, the rescuer noticed her unusual posture, kneeling on the ground with both of her arms supporting her upper body. When people cleared away the rubble around her, they found her 3 to 4-month-old baby, wrapped in a blanket, sleeping soundly under her, still alive. After that, the rescuing doctor found a mobile phone inside the baby’s blanket and on the screen was a message that said: "My beloved baby, if you can survive, please remember that I love you." I first saw it on 9gag then after I watched this mv I recognize the storyline So I search it on wikipedia . And it was true . So for those who confused , here you go . ;)

This music video made me cry the fact that taos mother sacraficed her own life to save his and he found true love it was amazing. I think that using Tao as an actor in Zhang Li Yin's MV was a very strong marketing move on SM's part, I know that a lot of people might not have watched the MV if Tao hadn't been in it. But, now that we've seen Tao act, we know that he's incredibly talented, and now that we've seen Zhang Li Yin sing, we know that SHE'S AMAZING. I love her voice and I'm so happy SM is using smart ways to market her new video! The video was very original and her voice is absolutely astonishing!! I love it and I can't wait to see more from her!!!!!

I cried while i was watching it, even though some people are saying the story is made up I still believe it is true because this is a mother and her child we are talking about! Are you trying to tell me that during that earthquake that killed many people, there was not a mother that protected or maybe even died for her child? It may not had made the news or anything but im 99.9% sure that every mother protected their child in every way possible during the earthquake even if it meant their death.That is what the bravery and love of a mother is.

It's such a sad and touching story, and the idea of letting Victoria appear again as this new girl is quite creative too. Couldn't understand a single word, but it's beautiful and my eyes were moist throughout the whole video. an emotional presentation, which is what all the very best songs are about.

For once i understand why SM delayed the release of this mv... Wow, first SM story based mv with no crappy, cheesy sound effects and corny horrible story line. I started to tear up from the 0.16 second mark, and LiYin's voice from 2.50 onwards really, really touched me. And from 4.00 onwards the storyline was just so heartbreaking i really cried. First time i cried by just watching a mv... Victoria's acting is really fantastic, like, when i was watching the mv i didn't think that she was Victoria, the despration in her eyes when she saved protected her child, how she msg-ed her husband....esp when she acts as the mother. the despration in her eyes when she protected her child, how she msg-ed her husband knowing she would die .... And to think these beautiful, brave acts really do happen, during the WenChuan earthquake a teacher spread his arms out to protect two children, they lived, but he passed away... they had to cut of his arms in order to get the children out....idk but a round of applause for the director, as the lyrics go perfectly well with the mv too *ugly sobbing*
