Hi Alex, nice video and videos at all !!! I started with Zhigao and Pendolsa Spinsticks and I almost quited penspinning, but my passion for this hobby didn't let me down. Now I am waiting for my first good penmods and at the same time I am spinning a balanced balloon stick and I can definitely say that It is better than Zhigao and Spinsticks. Already learned a lot of tricks and I think that it is a very cheap way to get to know and get involved in Penspinning. Keep supporting the Penspinning community with good content, Ciao !!!

Just sharing some info that you all might want to know Other than that, i agree on how Zhigao is not the best mod for Beginner PSer, but i'm sure Intermediate and/or advanced PSer can spin it
Dang it I bought 1. And my parents refuse to let me get another... Also the pen isn’t quiet when you drop it. It’s noisy because the weights hit the floor before the rubber parts. I thought I just really sucked at pen spinning.
You can still learn a lot of fundamentals with it. Heck you can even put rubber bands at the end of a normal pencil and still do some cool tricks. The pen can make a difference bit it isnt the reason you suck. You just gotta practice.
I started with a Zhigao Mod and today I've almost learned the Backfall with it. But I bought a Waterfall Mod 11 days ago because I wanted better quality, I will still keep my Zhigao Mod because I got attached to it. Plus will be able spin with two hands 😂
@@Andre-tp1jf It's okay to use a Zhigao if you want, it's just a lot harder to spin a Zhigao than to spin something else They're kinda cheap though so it's not a huge problem to buy one Plus, spinning with a mod that is hard to spin can be usefull in the way that the harder it is to get better, the better you get (I guess) Good luck for your first steps in PS :) Remember : It's not the mod that makes a spinner, but it's the effort you put in practicing.
Nathan BRAUD I bought a wpsa certifies ZHIGAO thing, I don’t think you can find it.. got it on a chinese website. Do you think it was worth it, would it make me have bad muscle memory?
@@Andre-tp1jf It won't be this bad I think, when you've mastered a move with one mod you can do it with any other mods, it doesn't matter which mod you use, let's take an example : You are currently using a mod, we'll call it "A". "A" can be any mod, either a Zhigao, a Flying Panda... After one year you can now do many tricks using "A" and you want to buy another mod, we'll name it "B". "B" can be any mod as long as it is not the same as "A". Your "B" mod was finally delivered and you've already tried a few tricks, but you notice that it feels different from "A". What I mean with this example is that whatever mod you are using, if you change mods one day it will feel different and it'll take some hours getting used to it. Muscle memory isn't bad because the mod is bad, it is different because mod "A" and mod "B" are not the same. So yes, using a Zhigao is ok as you will always remember the movements you had to do with it :)

I’m a new pen spinner and I was wondering which pen mod to get. I had my eye on the flying panda, waterfall and buster cyl but I’m not sure which one to get. What do you think is the best one for beginners?
Have you guys ever thought of using mold fabrication for your pen mods? Sure your product would become factory made mods, but you guys are pros and you can prototype mods that make sense and use materials to mute the noise as the mod falls on the table or add material post fabrication to mute the noise. I am sure you guys did cost analysis for how to build your mods, but I was just wondering. There is also the possibility of using a manual or cnc lathe to turn plastic materials into cylinders of arbitrary shape, again since you guys are pros you would be able to control the properties of the end product and satisfactorily make a useful mod. Both methods allow for the control of material density allowing the position of the center of mass to be manipulated.
I just started pen spinning and got the v.11 (Fengirl ZG-5096 V11) and It hasn't arrived yet. I haven't seen any comments hating on it so I don't know if it is really bad or not. Maybe they improved it idk. I mean it has no-slip pad things.

I will be getting one soon so I'll give my opinion soon but for now it is pretty heavy and has good momentum so ya it is pretty good for beginner power trick. Get the emboss SG on e ur done with the v11😁👍

I sort of agree, but.......... I bought a zighago mod which I believe is pretty good. After using this, I really thought the other money I wasted in zighago was wasted. I can't wait to buy from your shop!!
bro i have a zhiago v9 it is wayyyyy to small like the size of tornado mod and waayyyyyyy to heavy for the size like as heavy as a ivan mod i do not reccomend this mod eithrer for power tricks its ok bc of the weight but there are these metal balls on each side witch sucks BC it makes an even louder sound its like dropping a a dr grip but 3x louder and when you buy it only one ink tube acctually comes the other one is always missng

Everyone thinks so before trying a proper pen mod. Literally everyone. I wish I could have a DG grip each time I hear people saying, that Zhigao is good for them without trying any another mods
Admit it, it sounded comercial, with the 'order a package with a good pen mod in few weeks and a signed card' or something like that I really jumped out my chair when i heard the thing about self mods. We need to innovate instead of making a billion of ivan and menowa mods, the difference makes it better. And no, self mods isn't just a stick with two parts of rubber on the edges, your video about self mods is weird
Have you watched the video, which I offered? If you haven't - what's the point to argue? I am tired of telling each of you, butthurting penmodders, that self-mods, made by beginners have nothing in common with pen mods and in 80% of cases using them leads to quitting PS for wrong reason. About commercial - in which country do you live? Have they already built communism in there and you have other sustenance? They figured out the way to maintain channel, shop and web-site without any external support? Let me know, I will consider moving in there.
Don't need to argue, but we are not born with pen modding skills. If you don't fail you won't succeed, if they never try to make a self mod they will never make a good one. We all have been beginners one day. Maybe it's not good for your business but pen mods are self made, just sayin..

I had one of those and I didn’t think it was that bad but now that you’re saying it’s trash I’m definetly gonna have to try a better mod I think I’m gonna either make or buy a Ivan mod mine did have rubber grips with metal weight tho
@@leonitatan3456 brand of pen? You mean the name? There really isn't a brand of pen (or at least I don't think so). There are just different sellers and different bodies. If you want to know the name of the pens he used in the video, they were waterfall, and the flower series.
also i just wanna point out that the one i got (v7) removed the soft tip entirely and replaced with.a BLOODY METAL BALL. NOW TIS EVEN LOUDER AND CAN PROBABLY SUMMON SATAN HIMSELF IF I DROP IT
